It is a good choice for those who live nearby.

Placements: Placements are not very good, and expectations are low. Since it is a government college, faculty quality is somewhat negotiable. This year, the packages offered in the B.Com sector range between 1.5 LPA and 2 LPA. The placement percentage is very low, at around 25 percent, which is not good.

Really good infrastructure.

Placements: Almost 10 percent of students from our course are placed. The highest package was Rs 8 LPA, and the lowest package was 5 LPA. Google, Microsoft, Meta, etc., recruited. Students from my course get placement by a company named Xault. Roles offered in our course are Software Engineer, Data Analyst, Web Developer, etc.

Kashmir University: The legendary one.

Placements: The students placed in my course are up to 80%. The highest package is 13 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Flipkart, Meesho, and Swiggy. Almost 90% of students get internships. The top roles are executive director, manager, and head in various companies.

Review of GDC Anantnag (Shaheed Himayu Muzammil Memorial).

Placements: I am a student of B.A., joined in 2022-2025 mostly. There are only arts students in the college & a rarity of medical students. Some students are regular, some are not present consistently. The ones who know the worth of their money are the ones who have no backlog. Others are failures.
