A beautiful, attractive college. It is indeed beautiful. It is surrounded by trees & greenery.

Placements: To be straightforward, since it is a traditional government college, most students in my course opted to pursue their Masters degrees or prepare for civil services rather than jump immediately into the corporate sector. Because of this, only about 15% to 20% of students were placed directly through the college. The top recruiting companies were mostly local Kashmir enterprises, regional agro-industries like Kanwal Foods and Mir Agro, and a few regional financial setups. The top roles offered to ...

It is an average college, with basic facilities, no placements, and decent studies.

Placements: I completed my graduation with a 3-year degree (6 semesters) over a period of approximately 4 years. The institution also offered an option to continue for an additional 2 semesters (7th & 8th) to obtain an honours degree. There is no placement cell, and data is not available. There is no official package data available. No company visited for recruitment. There is no placement program, and students should arrange it themselves. There are no campus roles, and it depends on students.

Our college provides decent infrastructure with facilities like fibre optic, well-equipped labs.

Placements: The biggest package is 10-20 LPA, while the lowest was about 2 to 3 LPA, with an average package of 4 LPA. The top companies include Infosys and HCL. Around 40% of students also secured internships in companies like Infosys and local startups, which help in gaining practical experience.

Did I waste my 3 years at Islamia College of Science and Commerce? My honest college review.

Placements: Unfortunately, no student in my course got placed. The college has an official placement cell, but it is practically inactive. No student from my batch got an internship either. Any student for whom getting placed is a priority should think more before joining this college.

I suggest students join GDC, Anantnag, if they live nearby.

Placements: The college is situated in a very good location, which is easily accessible. There are many opportunities in college. The college offers 20 percent placements. The package offered is 2 LPA. L&T, Anchor, Havells, and Lord are the top recruiting companies.

It is a good choice for those who live nearby.

Placements: Placements are not very good, and expectations are low. Since it is a government college, faculty quality is somewhat negotiable. This year, the packages offered in the B.Com sector range between 1.5 LPA and 2 LPA. The placement percentage is very low, at around 25 percent, which is not good.
