It has a nice campus, but facilities can be better.

Placements: In the CSE branch, a few students got placed. The packages are not very high. Being the first batch, placements are quite satisfactory. But students still have to rely more on off-campus opportunities for better job prospects and career growth.

Infrastructure: University does not have its own girls hostel. Girls hostel is under another college. So our needs are neglected because the college cares about its students only. University also does not have its mess, and some group of students runs the mess.

Faculty: Most of the teachers can't speak English, so if you do not speak Bengali or understand it, then this college is not for you. You will face a lot of problems due to language barriers. Semester exams are not tough at all. You can pass them easily, if you just need to attend classes.

Dissatisfied with the placements since it's the first batch. Campus needs massive improvement.

Placements: Around 50% of students got placed in B.Tech CSE. The highest package offered is 6 LPA. The lowest salary is 3.6 LPA, and average salary is around 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS and some other startups. Top roles offered are business development associate and assistant system engineer. Some of the students go for internships but I don't specifically know about those companies.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi coverage is moderate but the computer lab needs some good PCs and projectors. Classrooms are well furnished but there's low maintenance when it comes to cleanliness after some holiday. Library is not so good, too small to cater to a university, and also needs a lot of empty space. It feels like chaos to sit there and study. Number of books needs a significant increase.

Faculty: Majority of the teachers are top-notch. They are pretty cool and helpful but some of them as usual bring nothing to the table, otherwise they are knowledgeable. Course curriculum is irrelevant to be honest in first year. Most of the subjects have no relation to data science at all, but it's not the fault of the university but the education system. Semester exams are not so tough but you need to study well as they determine your career. Pass percentage is around 90%.

Other: I chose this course because I love computers. My rank allowed me for this college only, so I got into it. There are a lot of things to improve such as campus playground, laboratories, and workshops. We have some real tech events and some cool clubs, but there's nothing here.

it is a good government university.

Placements: Around 90-95% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered by TCS is 7.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 2.40 LPA. This is our first batch that will pass out in 2025, so I cannot inform you about our department placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, but it should be a bit better than other universities. Our college has two labs and viva rooms. Wi-Fi is fast, it provides 1 GB of data. Our classrooms are smart and clean. I am not satisfied with the canteen food, because it is not good. Medical facilities are not available in our college.

Faculty: I am thankful to all faculty members. They are friendly. They always support us. Our faculty members are from prestigious universities like IITs and NITs. Some of them are from foreign universities. Our HOD is good.

Average experience with major gaps in placement and infrastructure.

Placements: I am from the Computer Science Engineering department. The placement opportunities are not up to the mark for core CSE students. Most of the companies visiting the campus are product-based. Many are marketing-oriented as well. There are very few reputed tech firms. Students expecting top IT or software companies may find the opportunities limited. This is a major drawback in placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good and deserves only one star. Most facilities are incomplete, and the hostel conditions are extremely disappointing. The rooms are unhygienic, maintenance is lacking, and even basic needs are not properly fulfilled both inside and outside the campus. The hostels for both girls and boys are outside the campus.

Faculty: Faculty, curriculum, and exams are overall average. Some teachers are supportive. Others are knowledgeable. However, consistency is missing across departments. The curriculum is decent. It could be updated with more industry-relevant content. Exams are conducted properly. They mostly focus on theory rather than practical learning.

Placement and infrastructure are not good in this university.

Placements: - 50 to 60% student are placed in 2025 - Some small company visit in our college like TCS and other startups are the top recruiting companies and the average placement is 5 LPA. - I have no idea about the top role. - the highest package : 6 LPA the lowest package: 4 LPA - Nobody got internship at this college .

Infrastructure: - The overall facilities are good but infrastructure in our department needs to improvement - Wi-FI are not good - Decent computer lab present in this college. - Classroom are good but need to be better. - Lack of book in library and librarian are not good - I have no idea about the hostel .

Faculty: - Most of teacher are helpful well-qualified and knowledgeable but there are a few you do not meet the same standard. - Difficult of the paper our semester exam is decent. Most of student was pass in semester exam. The pass percentage of our university is 40%. .

Other: - I have a strong interest in coding programming and teach so I chose this course. The best thing about this course is it is a dynamic curriculum which equips student to do both foundation knowledge and practical skills like programming, emerging technology like AI, ML and Data Science.

Really good infrastructure and facilities but the main problem is generator.

Placements: 60% of students were placed the highest package -7.5 Lacs per annum Average -4-5 Lacs per annum the lowest - 2.5 Lacs per annum Companies - TCS, WIPRO, VEDAND etc. 50% students got internship As a data scientist or a data analyst in our department.

Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi and classrooms for individual department. Food quality average But problem is there is no generators or inverters in university Sports and game field are open on college hour Hostel and food quality good No ragging Also have individual lab for particular department.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified Yes the teachers helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable Semester exams are slightly tough Industry make us a good data analyst in this department also have other departments like mining, metallurgy, B.Sc. B.Com B.A. Etc.

Other: This course have a good feedback and also I have a good interest in this course faculty members Fest, campus crowd, scholarship are available.

Placements: About 50% students got placed from B.Teach CSE and about 90% got placed from metallurgy and mining, the highest from the campus will not go more then 2.4 Lacs per annum, don't expect much from university, if you need placement hunt it off campus or else upgrade your skills, recruiters are sensored just like the sports facilities of the university. (Their are recruiters but we can't SEE them as same as the sports ground. Like it's there but we can't SEE it). Internship exist? I doubt. Anyways if I say about roles. Why should I say find it yourself.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is as fast as sail, labs are as good as my bedroom, classrooms are soo well maintained as the kitchen of rented house of a Bachelor and library is large and you can gain much valuable information, only if you are truly determined! hostel, food accommodation, canteen, medical facilities, sports and games ! be dora the explore. And if you are lucky enough you will get the knowledge about it !

Faculty: TEACHERS ARE HELPFUL, QUALIFIED AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. BUT ONLY THE PROBLEM IS THEY ARE LOW END. THEY ARE STILL LIVING IN THE OLD 1980s ! THE COURSE CURRICULUM IS RELEVANT. IT Doesn't ONLY MAKE THE STUDENT INDUSTRY READY, BUT ALSO THE STUDENT GETS 3-4 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE ALREADY. AFTERALL THEY SAY. MORE HARD THE PAPER MORE SUCCESSFUL YOU ARE !

Good learning, but facilities need major improvement.

Placements: Almost 50% of our seniors get placed this year. The highest package is 6 LPA, while the lowest one is 1.5 LPA. Most of them are placed in marketing companies. They are not able to bring tech companies on board. Very few students got internships.

Infrastructure: I was not able to get room at the college hostel. But as per my visit to the hostel, infrastructure is not really good. Mess is also managed by some group of students. Girls hostel is under another college. In both the hostel food quality is poor. But medical facilities are available in case of emergency.

Faculty: Some teachers are really helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable as well. But many guest faculty members are not well-qualified. Some of them find it difficult to speak English. As a student from another state, you may feel language barriers. If one follows the curriculum according then it is really helpful.
