Yes, candidates can get admission into the KGMU MBBS course with 60% scores in Classes 10 and 12. The basic scores that the university requires to consider candidates to be eligible must score at least at least an aggregate of 50%. Additionally, the candidates must have completed their higher senior secondary in the Science stream, including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as main subjects.
KGMU UP NEET cutoff 2024 was released in the form of opening and closing cutoff ranks. The cutoff was released for admission to MBBS course, for different categories under Home State quota. DM stands for Doctor of Medicine, which is a super-specialised course in the field of Medical. Candidates can only pursue this course after getting a PG degree in Medical. For admission to a three-year DM course at KGMU, aspirants must get a PG degree in either MD/ MS or any equivalent from a recognised institution recognised by Medical Council of India or State Medical Council. Admission to this course is entirely based on NEET SS entrance exam. The eligibility criteria for DM is standard for all NEET SS aspirants.

The KGMU central library remains open all days of the week. From Monday to Saturday, the timings are from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm and on Sundays, the library is operative from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. It is completely closed on public holidays such as on Republic Day, Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti, Holi, Eid-ul-Fitr, Dusshera and Deepawali.
The library also consists of a reading room, open from 9:00 am for the whole day and closing at 6:00 am the next day.

KGMU BSc admission 2026 is entirely entrance-based as the University accepts the scores of UP CNET. Candidates seeking admission to the KGMU BSc must go through the multiple-stage process. Given below is the KGMU BSc admission process:
STEP 1: Application Process
Visit the official website of the University, fill out the application form and pay the KGMU BSc application fees. They must also apply for UP CNET.

Appear for the Uttar Pradesh Common Nursing Entrance Test (UP CNET).

In order to get admission to DM at KGMU, the minimum eligibility criteria is to get a PG degree of MD/ MS or any equivalent. DM is a super specialisaed course, admission to this course is entirely entrance-based. For MBBS, round 3 was the concluding round for the General AI category students seeking admission in 2024. As per the KGMU MBBS cutoff 2024, the latest (last-round) cutoff was 2059. For admission to a three-year MD course at KGMU, there is basic eligibility criteria as per NBE norms. Admissions to this course is based on NEET PG scores. To appear for this entrance exam and admission to MD is offered to those who hold MD degree from a university recognised by Medical Council of India with minimum 55% aggregate in the case of General & OBC categories. There is a relaxation of five percent for SC/ ST category candidates. The reserved category candidates are required to obtain 50% aggregate in the last qualifying exam of MD.
