For admission to a three-year MD course at KGMU, there is basic eligibility criteria as per NBE norms. Admissions to this course is based on NEET PG scores. To appear for this entrance exam and admission to MD is offered to those who hold MD degree from a university recognised by Medical Council of India with minimum 55% aggregate in the case of General & OBC categories. There is a relaxation of five percent for SC/ ST category candidates. The reserved category candidates are required to obtain 50% aggregate in the last qualifying exam of MD.
To get admission into KGMU throught UP NEET exam, student must target the rank as per the cutoff list. As per the cutoff, the closing rank for General Home State category stood at 3484. Among the OBC HS category the last round closing rank was 3665. For SC Home State, ST Home State and PWD Home State category candidates also, the cutoff ranks were lenient than 3000. King George's Medical University (KGMU) offers a three-year BSc course to students across two specialisations. Admission to this course is based on merit. Students must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria to get admission to the KGMU BSc Nursing course. Yes, KGMU offers hostel facilities to its students. Candidates from general category are required to pay INR 48,100 (With Hostel charges) and 43,200 (Without Hostel charges). However, OBC/ SC/ ST category students are required to pay INR 42100 (With Hostel charges) and INR 37200 (Without Hostel charges).
KGMU accepts NEET PG scores for the admission to MD and MS specialisations. Recently, KGMU cutoff 2024 Round 2 seat allotment has been released by the institute. KGMU UP NEET cutoff 2024 was released in the form of opening and closing cutoff ranks. The cutoff was released for admission to MBBS course, for different categories under Home State quota. For students belonging to the General All India quota, the closing ranks for MBBS was 3484. For OBC Home State category candidates, KGMU MBBS cutoff was 3665. DM stands for Doctor of Medicine, which is a super-specialised course in the field of Medical. Candidates can only pursue this course after getting a PG degree in Medical. For admission to a three-year DM course at KGMU, aspirants must get a PG degree in either MD/ MS or any equivalent from a recognised institution recognised by Medical Council of India or State Medical Council. Admission to this course is entirely based on NEET SS entrance exam. The eligibility criteria for DM is standard for all NEET SS aspirants.
In order to get admission to DM at KGMU, the minimum eligibility criteria is to get a PG degree of MD/ MS or any equivalent. DM is a super specialisaed course, admission to this course is entirely entrance-based. For admission to this course, candidates have to check the eligibility in the first place and appear for NEET SS entrance exam. This entrance exam is conducted by NBE every year.
