The eligibility criteria for B.Tech admissions at Karnataka State Open University is that candidate should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45% aggregate. Moreover, candidates can also get admissions based on entrance exam. The entrance exams accepted include TNEA.  The duration of the course is for four years. The eligibility criteria for admission to the BCom programme at KSOU Mysore are that the candidate shall have passed the two-year pre-university examination conducted by the Pre-University Education Board in the state of Karnataka or any other examination recognised as equivalent. Students from other states who have completed 12 years of schooling, higher secondary or Class 12, will also be eligible for the institution, excluding nursery education. Students with vocational courses in relevant subjects are also considered for admission. The BCom degree is intended to provide a strong fundamental understanding of commerce and related fields, thereby preparing students for a host of career opportunities in business, finance, and management.

For getting admission to BA at KSOU Mysore, candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50 % aggregate. The fee for the BA course ranges from INR 16,100 to INR 3.6 lakhs. Additionally, the documents require for KSOU Mysore BA admissions include:

• Marks cards of S.S.L.C

• Photocopy of the marks cards of Degree for Master’s programme

• Marks cards of P.U.C. or its equivalent

• SC/ST caste certificate; (if applicable)

• BPL card in case of women candidates

The KSOU offers a BSc programme in a full-time educational mode. It is a three years course divided into six semesters. The university offers a BSc programme in several specialisations. KSOU MBA programme is All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved and other programmmes of the university are also approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Karnataka State Open University BCom admission is merit-based. Candidates are selected based on their performance in the qualifying exams. They must have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination from other recognised Boards to get admission to the BCom programme. KSOU BCom is a UG level course, offered for the duration of 3 years. Admission to KSOU BCom is based on merit.
