Review of Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Placement and job opportunities were available there. There was a placement cell in the college. The placement cell in the institute was responsible for coordinating the placement activities for students. They guided students. Companies like TCS, NSE, IMRB, FMCG, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, etc. visited the campus. They offered an average package range of 2.5 LPA–4 LPA. The highest package was 25–38 LPA. It depended upon students' experience and knowledge. Companies conducted interview sessions and GD tests for the selection of students. Internship opportunities were also available for students to gain experience and get on-field knowledge.
Infrastructure: Hostels were good. Food was very good. The fees charged for the hostel and mess were affordable. Rooms were available as shared as well as single rooms for students. The rooms were awesome. The mess food was good and hygienic. The hostel had a very good environment.
Faculty: All faculty members were well-qualified and experienced. They gave us the right path. They also helped us make decisions that were helpful for our future. They were updated with current business strategies and case studies and gave us various examples to explain. The staff was also good and experienced. They also helped students with day-to-day difficulties and counselling. They had a semester system. They organised two semesters each year. Each semester was divided into internal as well as external exams. Internals were of 40 marks. Externals were of 60 marks. Attendance was important for appearing in both exams. The MBA course was really very good. I learnt a lot while doing my MBA. The course structure was very good. It was more practical than theory-based. They emphasised group activities, debates, PPTs, role plays, industrial visits, and research papers. The course had subjects that were actually job-oriented.

This college is good for study and placement.
Placements: The college placement cell is highly active and continuously joins many different companies for recruitment. More than 35 companies have come for placement and give job opportunities to many students. These companies give job offers according to your performance and skills. Median package offered is 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is so nice. The college has all the needed facilities like good classrooms, library, etc. Sports facilities are present in our college where students play during free time. Our college actively focuses on extracurricular activities so all students can learn more than book knowledge. For any medical emergency, a hospital is present near our college where students get treatment.
Faculty: All faculty members have deep, strong knowledge about their own field subjects. They are more than enough to give the best education to students. MCA generally focuses on practical knowledge. Faculty members are doing their best to give all the needed practical knowledge.

Placements, faculty, and facilities are all satisfying.
Placements: Around 80% of students were placed from our college. The highest package offered was 22 LPA. The lowest was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies were TCS, Wipro, Eicher, Dune Microsystems, Starlabs, and IBM. Many former students were also placed in reputed companies. Our college provided internship opportunities for students. They received Rs. 4,000 per month as a stipend.
Infrastructure: We had a great campus area. Separate hostels were available for both boys and girls at a nearby distance from the college. Rooms had to be shared with three persons. Hostel rooms were very clean and properly equipped. Washrooms were cleaned every day by the hostel staff. Mess food was healthy and delicious.
Faculty: Faculty members had adequate knowledge. Each one had many years of teaching experience. Teachers provided enough knowledge and taught many programming languages. Lab exams mainly focused on practical knowledge about programming. They were generally conducted after the end of the semester. The course curriculum was highly helpful.

Good course with diverse career opportunities.
Placements: More than 50 percent of students got placed through campus recruitment. The packages offered are low. The highest package is 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Infosys, Tata Electronics, iSeo, Brakes India, and Sutherland are the top recruiting companies. Customer care, production operator, and quality inspector are the roles majorly offered.
Infrastructure: The EEE department has a good environment, clean classrooms, Wi-Fi, computers, and labs. The library has many useful books and study materials. I am not in the hostel, but during my short stay, the rooms and food were satisfactory, and sports facilities are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are helpful. Most of them support students in achieving a passing mark. The curriculum is relevant and provides a good foundation. But subjects are difficult. Semester exams are more challenging in the second year. The last years are comparatively easier. The pass percentage is generally above 50 percent.
Other: I chose EEE because it offers opportunities in many fields rather than one specific job. The course is good but I wish there were more coding and internship opportunities like in the new scheme. The campus has many sports, fests, extracurricular activities, and student clubs IEDC, VSEC, NSS, and IEE along with an alumni scholarship for EEE students.

Nice college with eco-friendly classes, fewer people, less exposure, and less money.
Placements: All students are placed even though it's not top companies. Packages are 2 LPA to 4 LPA. Most students try for internships themselves. I didn't see anyone who got an internship with the help of college faculty. Overall placements are good but not top companies.
Infrastructure: College has fewer students and poor facilities. They don't provide anything that will help improve skills. There is no auditorium and fewer programs, fewer hackathons, and fewer students. College life is poor, nothing engages.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and very good at teaching but the atmosphere only feels like just living to study. Exams are good and they teach well but skills are more important than some pages we lack other skills like communication, leadership, etc. Also, very little exposure to the world. Faculty are nice but there is a lot to improve.
Other: College is good if you want less college fee and can study peacefully, but here there is a lack of exposure and programs that give the actual college life.

Good academics but boring campus life.
Placements: The college has a placement and training cell and it is functioning well. The placements are getting better year by year. Well-performing students are getting placed at tier-1 companies. Below 50 percent of the students got placed as software developer, project manager, assistant engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is overall good. They provide decent lab facilities, library, and Wi-Fi is also provided. Hostel facilities are not up to the mark. The college has a canteen and serves different meals. Also lecture halls, seminar halls, and other activity rooms are present there.
Faculty: The faculty members are really good. They provide course materials and quality teaching. The pass percentage of the college is comparatively higher. Faculty members are young and helpful, and they are well qualified. Regular exams are conducted strictly by following guidelines.
Other: Strong academics but campus life is a bit boring.
