LPU B.Ed Eligibility & Highlights 2026
Apart from all the UG courses offered by Lovely Professional University, it also offers a two-year full-time B.Ed programme. B.Ed admission to LPU is completely based on the merit of candidates' performance in the last qualifying exam. Given below is the minimum eligibility criteria of the programme along:

-A minimum of 50% aggregate in a UG or PG degree in Science/ Social Sciences/ Humanities/ Commerce or equivalent or at least 55% aggregate in BTech/ BE with specialisation in Science/ Mathematics or equivalent Candidate must have studied the subject of the subject combination for at least three years at bachelor’s level or 2 years at master’s level or criteria of awarding board/ university is taken into consideration. There is a 5% relaxation for SC/ ST candidates and 3% for OBC candidates. Candidates belonging to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants are eligible for 5% relaxation. |

LPU does not offer direct admission. However, admission to few courses is merit-based. Aspirants scoring a 65% aggregate have a good chance of getting admission in LPU. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the university to apply online. To apply for LPU, aspirants need to register for LPUNEST for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. LPU admission to most of the courses is based on LPUNEST score. However, national-level entrance exam scores are also accepted for admission to BA LLB (Hons), MBA, BTech, etc. Candidates must complete Class 12 for UG courses and graduation for PG courses. The selection rounds are followed by counselling and document verification.
The remote proctored exam will be conducted from February 15, 2026, and the test centre exam dates are from March 15, 2026. The exam will be conducted till March 31, 2026.

Yes, the applications are out for LPU admissions. Students can apply online at the LPU site. Students can fill up the form with the latest details. The form has to be submitted with application fees and documents.
Candidates can apply in online mode. The exam fee is INR 1,000 for males (INR 500 for female candidates). Aspirants have to register on the university's website. Candidates need to then login to fill out the application form.

LPU offers above 300 degree and Diploma courses at the UG, PG and PhD levels. It also offers distance learning courses through LPU Distance Education (LPUDE). LPU NEST application form fee for a soft copy of the LPU NEST 2026 Kit is INR 1000 for boys and girls. The printed copy of the LPU NEST Kit is available for INR 1500 for boys and girls. The application fee can be paid online if the application form is filled out online. The application fee can be given as a demand draft if the application form is submitted offline. If the DD is not enclosed or DD is wrongly drawn, the application form will not be accepted. The application fee has to be paid to submit the application form.
