LPU LLM Eligibility & Highlights 2026
In the field of Law, LPU offers LLM programme with a duration of one year at the PG level. Candidates with an LLB degree are applicable to apply for this course subject to a valid score in LPUNEST. Check out the minimum eligibility requirement for admission to LLM in the below table:

LPU does not offer direct admission. However, admission to few courses is merit-based. Aspirants scoring a 65% aggregate have a good chance of getting admission in LPU. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the university to apply online. To apply for LPU, aspirants need to register for LPUNEST for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. LPU admission to most of the courses is based on LPUNEST score. However, national-level entrance exam scores are also accepted for admission to BA LLB (Hons), MBA, BTech, etc. Candidates must complete Class 12 for UG courses and graduation for PG courses. The selection rounds are followed by counselling and document verification.
LPU NEST application form fee for a soft copy of the LPU NEST 2026 Kit is INR 1000 for boys and girls. The printed copy of the LPU NEST Kit is available for INR 1500 for boys and girls. The application fee can be paid online if the application form is filled out online. The application fee can be given as a demand draft if the application form is submitted offline. If the DD is not enclosed or DD is wrongly drawn, the application form will not be accepted. The application fee has to be paid to submit the application form.
Yes, students can get admission in LPU without LPUNEST if they have scores of other accepted exams. The university conducts LPUNEST as both a scholarship and entrance test. Students can instead submit scores of the following exams as well:

- CUET-PG for MSc, MCA, etc.

Students can get provisional admission and confirm their seats by paying a nominal fees. The nominal fees is INR 10,000. This applies to all courses and would be adjusted against the programme fees of the semester. MSc Agriculture and MA Hindi/ Punjabi are exempted from this case.

Lovely Professional University (LPU University) offers over 300 degree, Diploma and Certificate programmes to aspirants at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. It offers BTech, MBA, BSc, BBA, B.A., B.Arch, BDes, MTech, LL.B. and various other courses to students. LPU admission 2023 to most of the courses is entrance-based. LPU NEST 2023 is the official entrance and Scholarship Exam conducted by the university. Apart from LPU NEST the university accepts several other national-level entrance exams, such as JEE Main, CLAT, CAT, NATA, etc. So prepare well for the entrance test.
