Yes, one can get admission into MAKAUT MBA courses without a valid CAT score. Admissions to MAKAUT MBA courses are made based on JEMAT scores. The university does not accept any other exam score for MBA admissions. JEMAT is conducted every year by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. MAKAUT University accepts both merit and entrance based exam scores. The university conducts CET exam in June for admission to courses such as BSc, MSc, BBA and BCA courses. MAKAUT conducts JEMAT for admission to MBA and MHA courses. It also accepts a few other state/ national-level entrance exams such as WBJEE, PGET,  UGC NET  (including JRF)/ CSIR NET for admission to UG, PG and doctoral-level programmes.
