It is a well-known college in India.

Placements: Many companies visit our college for placements. Mainly, companies offer a package that ranges from 3-4 LPA. Very few students got good placements with a package of around 10 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Accenture, and Capgemini visit the campus. Around 65-75 percent of students got placements.

Infrastructure: The college has a small campus. It is neat, clean, and looks very beautiful. All facilities essential for studies are available, like a library, computer labs, and Wi-Fi. The college doesn't have its own hostel. PGs or flats are available near the college.

Faculty: Faculty members are quite helpful. They teach us in very understandable language. All classes are held most of the time. Teachers provide notes that are very important for the semester examination. They provide various training to make us industry-ready. Semester exams are of a moderate level.

Placements: Every year 80% to 90% of students get placed in top companies. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant. The top roles are in Ninja, Digital, Prime in TCS, and as an analytics trainee in Cognizant. The highest package is 12 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA in this course. Every year, 80% of students get internships in TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, and learn many things.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good here, plus hostels are very neat and clean. Computer labs are clean and well-equipped. Wi-Fi has a very good speed. The quality of food is excellent in the canteen inside the college. Students love to eat delicious food very much. Different kinds of sports are held here like cricket, football, and many more.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in this college and knowledgeable. They teach students very clearly and make them understand the concept very easily. This course is very relevant and makes students industry-ready to get a job in top companies. Plus, semester exams are not so difficult. It's very easy questions come in the exam, and the pass percentage is 50%.

Other: I chose this course because it helps me to improve technical knowledge, and the best thing about this course is that it helps learn students about building apps. I wish to improve the data structure in this, as this subject is tough. Plus, different kinds of events and fests happened in this college. Genesis Fest, the biggest Ankuran Fest, happens here. Scholarship is also provided in this college.

Good college to join.

Placements: Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant. The highest package will be according to your skill, not the degree of the course, but the average will be 4 to 6 LPA. About 50 to 60% of students get placed. Summer internships and training courses are available.

Infrastructure: Labs are decent, and the canteen is also good and clean. Hostels are not available; you can take personal accommodation. Different events are held, like Hackathon, Regalia, Behan, and sports like football and cricket. Seniors are also helpful. No ragging has happened here.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Exams are not too hard; if students study properly, they can get 8+ CGPA. Students can become industry-ready for internships and jobs, and if you have top skills, then you can apply for top companies.

Other: The best thing about the course is that if you are not from a PCM background and you do BCA after 12th, then you can do MCA, which can be said to be equivalent to B.Tech. So you can take job roles such as Software Engineer, Data Scientist, or Cyber Security Expert.

Placements: College provides limited placement opportunities for MCA students. Placement cell heavily focuses on B.Tech students while MCA students are sidelined. Very few core companies visited our campus for MCA specific roles and many of us had to find jobs on our own.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is not up to the mark. Classrooms are not well-maintained. Basic things like clean washrooms and proper seating are missing. Canteen food is average, and hygiene is not up to the mark. For the fees we pay, the facilities are not worth anything at all.

Faculty: Faculty is unhelpful and lacks proper knowledge. Most teachers read from slides with no real explanation. They avoid doubts, don't show any interest in student growth, and don't provide any guidance and support. There is no motivation and encouragement from their side.

Placements: I am currently studying here. As per my knowledge, at least 70% of students got placed in previous years, with an average package of 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Cognizant, TCS, Accenture, and others. The roles offered by these companies are software associate positions.

Infrastructure: We have separate classrooms for every batch and separate departments for every course. There are labs, such as computer labs, project labs, and flip classrooms. There is also one library building, and our college is fully Wi-Fi. Our college has one canteen.

Faculty: Teachers are all qualified. Some are doctoral professors, and all are very helpful and kind. They teach our course subjects very well. This course is completely curriculum-relevant and makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are not very hard, and the pass percentage is almost 90%+.

Placements: For the MCA course at Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur, around 85 percent of students are placed. The highest package is 12 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and average is 5.5 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Maventic, rtcamp, and Capgemini. Nearly 70 percent secured internships at Celebal Technology, retcamp, and many more startups. Major roles offered are software developer, data analyst, and system engineer.

Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure and facilities like Wi-Fi all over campus, big labs and library, modern classrooms with projectors and smart board facility. We have girls' and boys' different hostels where food and lodging facilities are good and comfortable. Our mess food quality is better than other colleges and gives us a variety of items. In sports and games, we have a big playground, a basketball court, and a gym facility with good quality instruments and machines.

Faculty: MCA faculty at BCREC, Durgapur are highly qualified, supportive, and use practical teaching methods. The curriculum is industry-oriented, covering AI, ML, DBMS, and software development. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, focusing on both theory and application, with pass percentage of around 90-95 percent.

Other: I chose the MCA course at BCREC, Durgapur, to learn programming and build a career in IT. Teachers are helpful, and we get to work on practical projects which make learning interesting. I wish there were more placement drives and better lab facilities. The campus is nice, well-connected, and full of life with events like Zeal and Horizon. Other are also scholarships and lots of activities are there for students to enjoy and grow.
