NALSAR Hyderabad LLM Eligibility & Highlights 2025
The NALSAR Hyderabad LLM course is one year long. To complete this course, candidates need to complete three mandatory courses (four credits each), six optional courses (three credits each) and a dissertation (six credits) as part of the course. Some of the specialisations in which the PG course is available are Corporate and Commercial Law, Criminal Law, Environmental Law, Personal Law, etc.

LLB, LLM etc. Just like other colleges, here too the fee structure strictly depends upon the programme you are opting for, that is, the fee structure for BA LLB (Hons) will be different than that for the LLM students . According to this college's website the fee structure within the LLM will be different for different programs . On clearing the AIBE exam, lawyers are awarded a ‘Certificate of Practice’ which is mandatory for practising the profession as an advocate in India. However, aspirants who wish to apply for MBA or BBA may not require CLAT and can get admission based on other accepted entrance exams.

According to the media reports, 100% of placements were recorded for the 2024 batch. Out of 119 students, 86 appeared for the drive and were placed in domestic and international firms. A total of 36 PPOs were received and 50 students were placed through campus placements. The highest and average packages offered during NALSAR University of Law placements 2024 were INR 59 LPA and INR 17 LPA, respectively. As per the NIRF report 2024 released by NALSAR, the median package offered during UG 5-year and PG 1-year placements 2023 stood at INR 16 LPA and INR 7 LPA, respectively. Further, a total of 98 students were placed and 12 students opted for higher studies out of a total of 112 students during UG 5-year placements 2023. Other than this, 53 students were placed and 7 students opted for higher studies out of a total of 64 students during PG 1-year placements 2023.
Earlier, the NIRF report 2023 is out. As per the report, 96 BA LLB (Hons) and 48 LLM students were placed during 2022 placements. The median package offered to BA LLB (Hons) and LLM students during NALSAR University of Law placements 2022 was INR 16 LPA and INR 7 LPA, respectively.
The 2023 placement statistics are yet to be released. Earlier. 96 out of 118 BA LLB (Hons) students were placed during 2022 placements. For LLM, 48 out of 66 students were successfully placed. Department of Management Studies Nalsar University has zero tolerance policy towards ragging. The institute has a internal committe for ragging complains. The ragging cell helps the students to encourage and report the issue. Students who encounter ragging should report it to designated authorities
