Amazing and supportive faculty, wonderful opportunities and a chance at growth.

Placements: If you maintain a good CGPA (around >7.00), you are likely to get placed in top companies like IBM, Wipro, etc. Many students also start their own businesses and startups too. According to our alumni, they received promotions to higher positions in less than six months or so. The college presents a lot of opportunities, but you need to work hard to obtain them.

Infrastructure: The campus is huge and still under expansion. We have extremely high-quality labs and professional equipment for better hands-on experience. The campus is located at the foot of the Aravalli hills, with lots of greenery and beautiful sights. However, sometimes there are issues regarding connectivity. The Wi-Fi will sometimes not work and will take a long time (<2hrs) to get fixed. It would be better if you have an MD plan of your own. The mess food is hygienic and actually tastes good. The menu changes every month. There is a separate mess for students.

Faculty: Almost all teachers have PhDs in their respective fields, which enhances their teaching. They're helpful and knowledgeable. Even if you understand topics, you are free to approach the teacher in their private cabins for private lessons. There is a wonderful student-teacher support system that one can utilize for their benefit. The course and course material are modified periodically to incorporate new developments in these fields. It is observed that first-years struggle a lot during semester exams; however, to compensate for that, we have marks for things like attendance, projects, and practicals.

Other: I already intended to pursue this course after 12th, however, I found out that this college was the only one that could grant me an engineering degree without having taken Maths in 11th and 12th. There are two dedicated and state-of-the-art labs just for biotechnology students to utilize. Our campus hosts two main fests: SiNUsoid, the tech fest, and IngeNUity, the cultural fest. Campus life is great since it's a 100% residential campus. There is a wide range of extracurricular activities, including clubs that students can engage in.

Infrastructure: The aim of our college is to provide a welcoming and intellectually vibrant environment for the university's students, faculty, and staff. Nestled in the Aravalli Hills, NU's 100-acre campus pays homage to nature by incorporating wide open spaces and ample greenery. The plastic and litter-free campus with pollution-free air, enhanced by a unique sustainable cooling mechanism, makes the campus the ideal place for students embarking on their journeys of self-discovery. Considering that infrastructure and facilities have an impact on teaching, learning, and living on campus, NU takes pride in providing sustainable infrastructure and facilities that meet current and future needs, from well-equipped classrooms and labs to sports facilities and tuck shops.

Faculty: The faculty members in our college have doctoral (or equivalent) degrees from premier educational institutions in India and abroad. They are engaged in research into future technologies such as spatial computing, nanoscience and nanotechnology, bioremediation and bioenergy, etc. Our college has an optimum mix of young doctoral scholars and experienced senior members. Our faculty have successfully embraced new teaching-learning pedagogies such as project-based learning and "flipped class".

Placements: CIC is a center specifically set for placements. 100% of students were placed in our course for industry practice in the 8th semester. The top companies that held recruitment for Biotechnology batches were CDDEP, Axio Biosolutions, etc. The industry practice aspect prepares you for the future in the best way.

Infrastructure: The laboratory is one of the most important biotechnology courses, which are well maintained at NIIT University. There are multiple types of equipment, 2 labs, and temperature-controlled rooms, for the hands-on experience. The hostel is well maintained with all the facilities. We have options of multiple food points like Nescafe, Apno gaon, etc.,

Faculty: The faculty and curriculum for biotech are both well established. The teaching quality and methods are helpful. The skill set you gain at NU is the most important characteristic for you in the corporate world. The examinations, both practical and theoretical are fairly set up.

Other: The best thing about the campus is the serenity. The green campus always vibrating with energy and enthusiasm for activities happening, every other day is mainly organized by student-driven bodies. These develop your personality overall.

I recommend everyone to join this university.

Placements: Not many companies offered relevant placements to the biotechnology students. Students can apply for the companies that offer internships in the marketing field. If you are good at coding, you might get recruited as a software engineer, or you might get recruited by any of the IT companies for different roles.

Infrastructure: Labs in the college are up to the mark and impressive. I even heard that the labs in our college are better than other universities. All the experiments conducted in labs are important and will surely help one in the long run. The teachers aren't always available in every field, but whoever we get, he or she is always the best. All the teachers are PhD holders, and hence, provide better guidance.

Faculty: Teachers in the college are compassionate and hard working. Regular quizzes, assignments and assessments keep us up to date all the time and help us to know our academics. We have regular doubt clearing sessions, and the teachers are always ready to help us.

Other: We have a vegetarian mess, and it is a problem for non-vegetarian students, but non-vegetarian food is available in the restaurant present inside the campus. We also have a Dhaba where different non-vegetarian delicious food items are served.

Other: Good location. Place where you can explore yourself. College is away from the city, this is the best part. Good library and lab facility. Faculty members are very helpful. Good hostel rooms. Basic amenities like hotel - you can find good places to have nice Indian food, medical- 24X7 clinic and nearest hospital is 6 kms away. Market - only 4 kms away and you can find your basic requirements there.
