It has a beautiful campus, excellent placements, and a good location.
Placements: About 92% to 93% of students get placements in CSE. The highest salary package offered by CRED is 52 LPA. The lowest salary package offered by Jio is 7 LPA, and the average is around 13.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are American Express, Amazon, DE Shaw, and Wells Fargo. The internship rate is 80%. Roles offered are SDE-1, DevOps, business analyst, and data analyst.
Infrastructure: Lecture halls are up to the mark. The hostel rooms are below average, especially for first-year students. Hostels for other students are relatively new and well maintained. The food quality is average. There is a mess committee run by students where the menu can be customised accordingly.
Faculty: Faculty members are quite good. The course curriculum is pretty much outdated as there is no option to learn Java or Python. They only teach C++. In ML, there are only theoretical portions. There is no practical implementation of ML models. Semester exams are below average in terms of difficulty.

It is a good campus with infrastructure and great campus life if college reopens.
Placements: Almost 100% of the students got placed in the course. This year the highest salary package offered is 1.5 crore per annum, and the average salary package offered is around 7-9 LPA. This year one of the top recruiting companies is Amazon. Almost all the students got internships in several good companies like Amazon, Siemens, Infosys, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not compatible with any other colleges in India as it is an amazing and second most beautiful campus. The library and reading room have a good area to accommodate students, and blowers and air-conditioners are also provided. Jio Wi-Fi speed is a good facility which has an excellent speed. Labs with all experimental setups and the latest machinery are available. The food available here is good as per the time, and food includes vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian items. They also serve seasonal fruits during breakfast. Our college provides infrastructure for both indoor and outdoor sports and games. In every hostel, a gymnasium is also available. There are two food courts, which are operated at night. There are many stalls like Amul and Nestle, and there is a medical center for a healthy lifestyle for students and staff members.
Faculty: Teachers are good, highly qualified and have a lot of experience. The course curriculum is relevant, but it is of the past century. Exams are moderately difficult and mostly depend on the student's preparation. The passing percentage for the exams is 33%.

It is the most beautiful campus in India.
Placements: Almost 100% of students got placements from our course. The highest salary package offered was 1.51 crore per annum in this session to a student named Nishant Singh Hada in Bloomberg company. Almost 80% of students get internships from our course. The topmost recruiting companies here are Amazon, Samsung, Avalara and Paytm.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available here. The food served here is not very good but also not very bad. There is a sports complex in our college. In every hostel, there is a gym and game area. NITH is the most beautiful campus in India. It's situated in the hills and valley. Many visiting places are very near to campus.
Faculty: The curriculum is good here. All teachers focus on theoretical as well as practical implementation according to the industry. In computer science, there is a coding society for students, and they create an environment of coding in our college. Faculty members are very kind and supportive.
Other: I have always loved computers from my childhood, so I chose this course. Two major fests are organised in our college, and the first one is Hill fair, which is a cultural activity fest. Another one is Nimbus, which is a technical fest of our college.

You can opt for this college for good learnings.
Placements: Placements in our college are decent for computer science and electronics. Certain good package offering companies include Codenation, Amazon, Siemens, Arcesium, etc. Apart from these, Paytm, Publicizes Sapients, Infosys, Wipro, Samsung, Infoedge, etc., also hires a good number of students. Electrical, civil, mechanical, and other off branch students are allowed to sit for companies such as Wipro, Accenture, Infosys, etc. The placement rate of CSE and ECE is 100%, but that's not the scenario for all other branches. The highest salary package offered is 1.2 crore to the date by a CSE dual student.
Infrastructure: NIT Hamirpur has such a beautiful campus, with beautiful scenic views to perfect peace after a hectic day, all you get at one place. Hostels are well maintained. especially newly constructed hostels are spacious. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. There is a big ground, a decent library, sport and badminton courts in the hostel. Overall the infrastructure is good and well maintained. Monkeys can prove to be a maniac at certain times.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good and knowledgeable. Though you have to study by yourself and you won't be spoonfed. Most students start studying a week before the mid-semester exams and a month before the end semester exams. Easily youtube lectures are available, apart from that teachers' notes and books subscribed form the major part of the preparation material. Good lab facilities are provided to give the practical outlook of the course you're studying.
Other: I will personally suggest you opt for CSE or ECE as placements are good majorly for these branches. Apart from that overall, it's a good college with good college life, a nice campus, and the fest is amazing as well. Some good bands such as Nalayak, and Local Train visit the campus as well, making the fests real fun. There are DJ nights at fests which are crazy.

Campus is good but overall it's just an average college.
Placements: Almost all the students were placed with an average package of 8-10 LPA. The highest package offered was 25 LPA and the lowest was around 4-5 LPA offered by mass recruiters. Internships were offered by Wipro. The top roles offered were web and app developers.
Infrastructure: Hostel for freshers is average but facilities are good in subsequent years. Department and library are also average. Quality of food in hostels is below average but canteens and cafes are there to deal with it. Medical facilities are good. Wi-Fi in hostels are good but usage is limited.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified but the curriculum they are teaching is quite outdated. In my experience, each semester offers only 1-2 subjects that are relevant to the industry. The curriculum is outdated as I mentioned so as a student you have to do a lot more than that to grab a good placement.
Other: Courses offered in semesters can be aligned with industry needs which will improve average package and ease for students. Fests and other activities are average.

The on-campus placements need improvement.
Placements: Only a few good companies visit for on-campus placements like Amazon, Byju's, Adobe but companies like Goldman Sachs, Microsoft do not visit the campus. The average package is around 6 Lacs but many people also apply for off-campus and get a nice package.
Infrastructure: 1 GB Jio Wi-Fi is given which also gets disconnected many times and they charge 1500 Rs for that kind of internet. In Hostel there is triple sharing for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-year students and single sharing for final year students. Mess food is not that much good especially breakfast is awful.
Faculty: Some teachers are nice but some are not nice. They just teach from slides and do not use blackboard once even in subject like maths. I don't like this kind of teaching.

Our college has a beautiful campus, and it provides more than 80% of placements.
Placements: More than 80% of the students got placed here. All the top companies of India visit our college to provide placements. Students must do an internship after the 6th semester, which is provided by the college only. Students can also do other internships of their choice.
Infrastructure: There are 2 buildings for CSE branch, and one more is under construction. One department building consists of classrooms and faculty rooms, and another building has a computer centre with more than 1,000 computers. There are 12 hostels for students in our college, which includes 4 girls hostels and 8 boys hostels. Hostel facilities are good with a proper 3-time meal and 1-time snacks. There is a health centre on the campus with 24x7 doctors. There is a huge ground for sports, and a new sports complex is under construction.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members in our college are PhD holders, and the rest of the teachers are pursuing their PhD degree. They have immense knowledge of their field. They teach in both Hindi and English, according to the students as our college consists of students from all over India. The course curriculum is helpful to communicate with reality. Everything we study will be helpful in future.

NIT hamirpur: A home away from home.
Placements: We've almost 100% placement in our course. Top recruiting companies are Samsung, UHG, Wipro, Oracle, capgemini, Infosys, HSBC. The highest package offered yet in-campus 16 lac, the lowest is 3.5 lac, avg package is 6.5-7 lac. Companies mostly offered job for software engineer. Company is not recruiting intern from dual degrees. But we are demanding to give us opportunity but in 4 yr. course. 50-60% students got on campus internship.
Infrastructure: There are labs for every core subject each computer for a student, Full internet connected. Wi-Fi in classrooms are fully furnished, projector and 1 whiteboard and green board. Each Dept has their own labs and there is a lift in the lecture hall.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers here are very helpful. All of them are well qualified. Senior faculty are Ph.D. holders and currently researching in various fields. They help student in research fields. Their behavior is good towards students. They also participate in various cultural activities.
Other: Hillffair is our cultural fest . It is of 3 days. Nimbus is our technical fest and it is also of 3 days And various activities and fest are held in our college.
