Review of PES University- Hanumanth Nagar Campus.

Placements: Salaries range from 3 LPA to 12 LPA for students who are placed. The placement of the college is just at the top level. Students get internships in their final year, which is very helpful for the students to be industry-ready and learn a lot of new things.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities of the college are just below average. The classes, labs, and restrooms are all not well-maintained. There is no hostel facility on this campus. With the available infrastructure and facilities, students find it less attractive and interesting to get to the college.

Faculty: Teachers are all very helpful, well-qualified for their position, and knowledgeable. The curriculum is very useful for students to be industry-ready after completion of the course. The semester exams are quite easy to pass, but you have to work a little to score well on the exams. The pass percentage is 35%.

Other: I just chose the course in order to get into the financial field in the future. The course also provides what is needed for the students. The infrastructure facilities on this campus have to improve a lot. Events, fests, and other things take place on the neighbouring campus, which is the Ring Road campus. The B.Com course is now being shifted to the Ring Road Campus to bring it to your notice.

Overall, the college is good, and I am satisfied.

Placements: Nearly over 50% of students got placed in our college. The highest package offered is 8 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Northern Trust, DE Shaw, Dell, TCS, Clive, Accenture, HP, Jana Small Finance Bank, OLA and many other companies. No internships were offered in my academic batch due to Covid. But in future, they may provide it. Sales executive, finance associate, customer service executive, assistant accountant, etc., roles are offered to students as per my knowledge.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was not available, and the network inside the college was low. The classrooms have TVs used for presentations. The library is well-maintained with a good collection of books. Sports and games are given great priority. Indoor games are also played inside the college, along with kabaddi, which was great.

Faculty: The teaching quality is good enough, but it varies based on the subject. Overall, it is above average. The curriculum is relevant but needs to be improved to make students industry-ready. During Covid, it was quite difficult to attend offline exams with online classes. Now in 6th semester, we have offline classes, and it is quite good.

Other: B.Com is quite a good experience overall. The best thing is that our batch was 1st to come under PES University in B.Com. Students should be provided with industrial experience by visiting industries every year, which was not organised for us as promised. Events and fests came into lime light when I joined PES. Scholarships are provided to students by the university based on their studies.
