Poornima University is actually good within budget. It also provides a good campus life and studies.

Placements: In my course (B.Tech), around 40–50% of students are placed on campus with 3–4 LPA packages in lower-level roles in companies. The top recruiting companies are small startups and some MNCs like Accenture. Around 30–40% of students get internships through the college, but there are no specific companies for internships.

Infrastructure: In my opinion, facilities are below average as there is no AC in the classrooms. An open cafeteria is available, but in the summer, there is not a single fan in the cafeteria. There are zero medical facilities. Sports and games are good.

Faculty: Some teachers are good, but not all teachers are qualified. Some are pursuing their post-graduation in the same college and teaching us with zero experience. Semester exams are easy, and the passing percentage is 35–40%. The course curriculum is relevant and somehow makes students industry-ready. Some teachers behave very rudely.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in the Data Science field and want to explore AI. I wish the practical knowledge in my course could be improved. Events and fests are amazing. There is an event called Lakshay, which is an annual fest lasting 4–5 days with DJ nights and celebrities. The scholarship facilities are also good.

I am absolutely satisfied with well-qualified teachers and good placements in 2023.

Placements: Around 50% of students from my computer science batch got placed within 6th month of graduation. The average salary package is 8 LPA. The highest package is 30 LPA and the lowest package is 15 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, TCS, Ola, and Flipkart visit the college for placements. Internships depend on students and they have to get on their own. Top roles offered are data scientist, machine learning, full stack developer, and cybersecurity analyst.

Infrastructure: The computer science and engineering department has excellent infrastructure. Wi-Fi is available throughout the building and campus. It is generally reliable although it can get connectivity issues at peak hours. The internet speed is fast. Labs are well-equipped with ACs and fuel-working computers. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and well-managed furniture. The library contains all books which we need. The hostel facility is also excellent. The food quality is good but the taste is the same. There is a football ground, a volleyball ground, four basketball courts, and one American football ground.

Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful, knowledgeable, and qualified. They are postgraduate and well-experienced in this course. The course curriculum is related to industry because they all teach in a modern way which is helpful. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 45%.

Other: There is a scholarship provision for students who got better marks in their previous classes. The management organises big events and all activities timely.

Review of Poornima University.

Placements: Top companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, etc., visit our campus to select desired students. Placements are very good in our college. A high percentage of students got placed in good companies like TCS, Infotech, Microsoft, Google, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel is good. The hostel provides good facilities. The food served in the hostel is good as at home. The warden is very good and sweet. The hostel provides a personal gym for students. We can play games on campus like cricket, American football, etc. Our college has a good environment for studying purposes. Our college has very good libraries. There are two types of libraries, which include a normal library and an online library where you can study E-books online.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and passed out from IITs.

Other: I like this college.

Overall, a good college and a good campus.

Placements: 50 to 60 percent of students get placed. The highest package was around 12 LPA, the lowest package was 3 LPA and the average package was 4 to 5.5 LPA. There are many companies that come for campus placement like TCS, Infosys and any small and big IT Companies. It is up to the students to find internships, recently one of my seniors got placed at Microsoft. The companies give us many roles related to the IT sector.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good but it is still under construction. There is Wi-Fi in classrooms, library and labs. There are language labs related to programming languages. The hostel has very good facilities and the quality of the food which is provided in mess is very good.

Faculty: The teachers are very good and help students with their studies and teach topic in a way that every student can understand. The course is very simple and understandable, it only helps students to get industry ready. The semester exam is not very tough, all students pass the exams.

It has absolutely good environment, good infrastructure and facilities, and the best college life.

Placements: I am a first-year student of B.Tech CSE (AI and data science). The percentage criterion for students to get a seat in our course is at least 60% for the general category and 55% for SC and ST students. This year, the highest package offered is approximately 33 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA, and the average package is 5-6 LPA for B.Tech CSE. Many recruiters like Infosys, TCS, Genpact, Synopsys, Capgemini, Cognizant, etc., come here. The percentage required to get an internship in CSE is a minimum of 60-70%. Companies that offered internships are Genpact, Infosys etc. Top roles offered in B.Tech CSE are cyber security, artificial intelligence, data science, cloud technology, full stack development, game technology etc.

Infrastructure: Poornima University is well-known for its campus area of 32-acres and lush greenery. There are all the required facilities for students. The campus has a very good environment, and every student enjoys it much. There are spacious and air-cooled classrooms with smart learning equipment. An auditorium is also available. High-tech laboratories are available, like CADlab, embedded system lab, DAEC lab etc. High-tech computer labs are available in different wings. A library and a cafeteria are available. We have a mentor-mentee system. Industry visits are organised every year. An annual fest called Lakshya and i3day classes are conducted. All sports facilities are provided for students.

Faculty: Teachers are very highly qualified. They are very strict while teaching. The course makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate. But every student can pass the exams if they attend the classes regularly. The passing percentage is 40%.

Other: An annual fest called Lakshya is held here. Celebrities are invited to the college. Scholarships are the best part of Poornima University. This year, 80% of scholarships were given to students. You can continue getting scholarships by achieving good marks in exams every year.

The overall review - My college is good.

Placements: The average package is 5.45 LPA. Average students got placed in the privious batch something 250 in my batch. The highest package is 44 LPA in my course. There are many recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro, HCL Tech, Accenture, etc.

Infrastructure: Classroom and lecture room have a project, LAN, and campus wide high-speed Wi-Fi. It has a dedicated e-learning. A central library of 40,000 volumes national and international journals. It has separate boys and girls hostels with purified water. We have a common room, etc.

Faculty: Teachers at Poornima University are qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. Most of the faculty members have strong academic background. They have a core engineering subject like python, C, DSA, etc. Regular labs and minor project exam are held twice in the semester.

Other: I am currently pursuing B.Tech in computer science in the batch.
