Our college has good faculty members, and it is worth studying.
Placements: Placements are available for arts and science department students. I am a student of the English department, there is very little scope for placements. I do not have any idea about placements as my department does not offer placements.
Infrastructure: Our university has very good infrastructure. There is Wi-Fi for students. Our classrooms are well-organised. Many classrooms are AV-enabled, which makes our learning better and more enjoyable. The library is vast and has many books on every subject. It is well-organised. The hostel in which I stay is quite good. The food served in the canteen is above average. We have sports equipment in the hostel. Medical facilities are available.
Faculty: Professors in our department are a blessing to us. They are not only adept in their areas but also pay attention to every single query of ours. Texts are well chosen. They include important texts and theories of literature for English honours students. It would be great if Jane Austen were included in our syllabus as well. Exams are quite good. The pass percentage in our department is 98%. The overall pass percentage in the university is 85%.
Other: I chose this course because I love studying English literature, and Presidency University offers a beautiful syllabus and excellent faculty. It would be great if we had more faculty members and different tutorials for weaker students. There are fests, events, and seminars, and we take part in them. I love to recite poems at these events.

It is a well developed university.
Placements: Almost 40% of the students got placements. It is a well-developed university. Companies like TCS, Tesla, and Tata would take the students in their companies. The highest package offered was 7 LPA -9 LPA for the foreign students and any one can avail this and the lowest was 3 LPA -4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. There are different types of labs like chemistry lab, biology, and physics. No university provides the best food in the canteen. It was average. Ragging is not allowed. Medical facilities are available, and the hostel is good. Almost everything is good on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are kind as well as strict. They were helpful and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Almost 40% is the passing percentage. Questions in the exams are easier if we study otherwise it will be difficult. Questions are of moderate level.
Other: While selecting the course, I didn't think much about this. I loved the subject so I chose to continue with this. There is a special consideration for the students who don't have enough money to pay the fees.

The college is quite good. I'm satisfied with all the facilities provided by the college.
Placements: Placement and job opportunities in the college are quite available as numerous private sector companies hire many postgraduate students every year. There is a placement cell, and it was started by the college authority to look after the placement activities for the students.
Infrastructure: The campus life is wonderful. It offers a great ambience in the evening with lights all around. It provides hostel facilities too for students. There is no gender discrimination here. Extracurricular activities such as games and music events are commonly held here.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college are available during the working hours, i.e., 10 am to 5 pm. There is a friendly environment between students and faculty members, which helps the students to approach the faculty in any manner regarding educational queries. All the teachers in the college are well qualified and very focused on their teaching. They teach through normal lectures and even digital classes at times for the betterment of the students. The course curriculum is complete with quarterly assignments and projects. The examinations are conducted semi-annually as semester exams with each module covering an adequate structure of the course.
Other: The college organises one annual cultural fest where many students participate. Besides, there are many academic activities around the year where different colleges of Kolkata take part.

Good place to start with.
Placements: The University has an active placement cell and has been recruiting students since a long time. Companies like Cognizant come to the University. Companies recruiting teachers have also been recruiting recently. Out of 30 students, almost 20 are recruited. The stipend ranges between 20-30k per month. The University also has a wide range of internship opportunities. Summer interns are selected every year and sent to imminent Universities such as University of Groningen, with which Presidency also happens to have a MOU.
Infrastructure: The age old university has been recently renovated, therefore you will find a collaboration of the latest technology set in well maintained labs, libraries and classrooms. The labs here are one of the best in the state. The entire campus is Wi-Fi zoned with access to international library resources. The sports facilities are excellent, the University itself holds annual sports meet every year. There are 5 different canteens in the campus for you to choose from with good quality meal at a reasonable price. The girls hostel is at Salt Lake and the boys hostel is at Rajarhat. The hostel rooms are up to date with the latest amenities.
Faculty: The student teacher interaction here is seldom to be found anywhere else. The faculty is very student friendly and supportive. Since the student to faculty ratio is quite low, around 30:1; individual attention is given to each student. The professors are highly qualified, you will find their resume in the University Website or you can Google it. Conventional teaching methods to the latest projectors, everything is in use based on the requirement. Industry exposure is given to students of Science. The course curriculum is one of the most advanced in the country.
Other: Events and fests are held at every department all the year round. The University has debate clubs, writers association, Science fairs, and other festive occasions. The annual fest called Milieu is a major crowd puller.

The college is one of the oldest in India.
Placements: The percentage of students placed are like 50-60%. The highest package was maybe 12 LPA, the lowest was 2.4 LPA and average was 5 LPA. Tata, Infosys and AIIMS come here. Internships are not so good. You can join as a teacher here after completing your education.
Infrastructure: PG is a very old building, no Wi-Fi. In campus, there is limited Wi-Fi, 1 library, many labs, etc. The buildings are very old. Food is average in the canteen. The old structure of the building is very historical. There is a full emergency health team for any kind of health support.
Faculty: The teachers here are top of the west Bengal. It absolutely makes students ready for the industry. The teachers are highly educated. The teachers are also the ex-students of this college which is more interesting.
Other: Many events like traditional ones are organised here very beautifully.
