SASTRA University is popularly known for its UG and PG courses. The university is know  for strong academics which is offering form 1984. The university is recognised by the UGC and accredited by NAAC A+ grade. The Government of India has also recognised the university as a Scientific & Industrial Research Organisation. Admission to all the BTech courses is subject to JEE Main scores and Class 12 scores(given equal weightage) for 50% of the seats and is subject to Class 12 scores for the remaining 50% of the seats. If a student has appeared for JEE Main then they need to apply under stream 1 of admission.
