All admissions granted by SIMATS Chennai are provisional in nature. Steps for SIMATS Chennai Admission Process 2025
Candidates can apply for SIMATS Chennai course admissions in online mode by visiting the official website of the institute. The selection process can be both merit and entrance based, depending on the chosen course. The steps mentioned below show the entire process of SIMATS Chennai admissions:
1: Application: Candidates need to apply on the official website of SIMATS University (saveetha.com).
2: Selection: To apply for UG courses, candidates must have at least passed Class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognised board with 50% aggregate. Candidates will have to apply for the NEET-UG exam conducted by NTA to gain admission to undergraduate courses at Saveetha University. SIMATS also conducts its own entrance exam for a few courses admission to a few courses.
3: Counselling: After the entrance exam results are declared, the SIMATS Chennai conducts counseling rounds during which, candidates are alloted the seats on merit-basis.
4: Fee Payment: Saveetha University admissions are confirmed after the admission fees has been paid by the candidates.

Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS) offers BSc Allied Health Sciences in various specialisations and MBBS at the undergraduate level. The majority of the institute's programs, including MBBS, BDS, B.Tech, and others, have clear return policies.
After deducting administrative fees, funds are reimbursed to students who opt to withdraw their acceptance prior to the final day of admission.
Usually, 1-2 weeks after classes begin, the deadline for admissions is reached.
The following guidelines will apply to refunds in the event that a student departs after the final admissions date:
Refundable 75% of fees if departure occurs within 30 days before the deadline (registration expenses excluded).
Refundable 50% of fees if departure occurs within 30 to 90 days.
If you depart after the final admittance date, you won't get a refund.
A refund application must be completed.
Admission to most of the courses are done on the basis of national level common entrance examinations, while the college also conducts entrance for a few courses. For B.E./B.Tech courses, eligible candidates need to appear in Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) or Common Entrance Test conducted by Anna University. The selection is done through the Single Window Counseling process administered by Anna University via Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA), with a required cut-off score of 200 (100 for Mathematics and 100 for Physics + Chemistry).
