SIMATS Chennai admission process is based on both entrance test and merit list set by the university. To apply for UG courses, candidates must have atleast passed Class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognised board with 50% aggregate. For admission to UG courses, candidates must appear NEET-UG exam conducted by NTA.
Admission to MBBS, BTech, MBA, M.Tech courses is done on the basis of NEET-UG, TNEA, TANCET, GATE exams respectively.

Refundable 75% of fees if departure occurs within 30 days before the deadline (registration expenses excluded).
Refundable 50% of fees if departure occurs within 30 to 90 days.
If you depart after the final admittance date, you won't get a refund.
A refund application must be completed.
SIMATS does not offer a direct admission to B.Tech. An entrance exam is required.
The admission process for B.Tech is as follows:
- The JEE Mains and TNCE exams are used to provide admission at SIMATS
- Candidates who have been shortlisted based on their enterance exam scores are required to attend counselling sessions where they can select the B.Tech specialisation they want.
- The final merit list is prepared using factors other than JEE, such as 12th standard marks.
