The tuition fee for PhD at SNU Chennai is INR 72,000. This fee is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. Futher, candidates also have to pay for refundable caution deposit of INR 10,000 ( one-time) & admission fee (one-time) of INR 5,000 at the time of admission. SNU Chennai PhD admissions 2024 are open for the January Session. The last date to apply for the same was Nov 24, 2023. However, the written exam dates have not been released on the official website. SNU Chennai PhD admissions are entrance-based. The university conducts an in-house entrance exam for the selection of right candidates to its PhD course. There is no other entrance exam acceptable for the admission. Candidates have to apply and qualify for the exam with a valid score. Candidates who will secure a good rank in the respective exam will be called for PI round.

SNU Chennai offers a three-year PhD course in various specialisations of Engineering/ Technology, Commerce, Management, Science and Humanities. The course is available in the following modes:

SNUC BSc Fees 2025 includes various components. The total fees of SNU Chennai for the BSc programme is INR 7.5 lakh. It is inclusive of the refundable caution deposit of INR 20,000, a non-refundable application fee of INR 1,500 and an admission fee of INR 20,000.

The candidate will also have to pay additional charges if they are availing hostel and transportation from the campus. The hostel fees costs around INR 2.62 Lacs depending on the type of accommodation chosen.

The registrations for BTech at SNU Chennai are completely online. Candidates need to apply for the SNUCEE exam on the official website of SNU Chennai and fill an online application form with all the relevant details. Check out the step-wise SNU Chennai application process in the following section:

SNU Chennai offers three specializations under the four-year BTech course. These are Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AI&DS), Computer Science & Engineering- Internet of Things (IoT), and Cyber Security (CSE). Admission to all these courses are done through a common admission process. Candidates are selected based on a valid SNUCEE score, followed by a PI round.

The students wanting to take admission in a BTech course must meet the eligibility criteria. For the SNU Chennai BTech admission, the students must be Class 12 pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. During form filling, the students must have the important documents.
