As per the latest information, the overall cut-off varies from 357-367 for the M.Tech courses at SMVDU.

To be spoken separately the expected cut-off for "computer and Science engeenering" is 357, 361 for "system engeenering" and 367 for "electronic and communication engeenering".

M.Tech at Tezpur university is better than M.Tech at SMVDU because the placements at Tezpur university provides much better options and salaries as compared to SMVDU.

Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the BTech courses. During the Round 1 cutoff, the closing rank for CSE was 25886 for the General category students under the AII India Quota. Among OBC candidates, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering stood at 8750. Candidates who wish to take admission to the BSc Hons programme offered at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University are required to appear for an entrance examination. The University and its affiliated colleges accepts the scores of CUET UG. Therefore, Class 12 marks are not enough for SMVDU BSc Hons course admission.
