SHUATS BTech Courses & Fees 2025: Eligibility, Selection Process & Fee

For applying for BTech at SHUATS Allahabad one must have completed 12th from CBSE or UP board with atleat 50% marks for general category and 45% for reserved category.

After satisfying this criteria, students have to qualify the SHIATS entrance exam. Which completely merit based.

For few courses like agricultural, food technology and dairy specialisation BTech, there is another entrance called SOET (SHUATS online entrance exam)

SHUATS (Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences) does not participate in JEE Main Counselling 2023 conducted by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). Therefore, there is no JEE 2023 Counselling schedule at SHUATS. However, SHUATS conducts its own counseling process for admission to its engineering courses. Candidates who have qualified for JEE Main 2023 and meet the eligibility criteria for SHUATS can apply for admission to the university through its counseling process. Candidates are advised to check the official website of the university for updates on the counseling process.

BTech CSE at SHUATS is a four-year programme. Admission to BTech is completely based on online/ offline counselling conducted basis SOET/ merit in Class 12. Additionally, admission to the Agricultural Engineering, Dairy Technology and Food Technology branches of BTech can also be done on the basis of ICAR AIEEA exam. Firstly, SGPA is calculated in each semester. Credit is allotted to each subject some subjects are for 2 credit some are for 3 upto 7 credit. If you score A in any subject means 10 points B means 8 points C means 6 points D means 4 points E Mains 3 points F means 2 points and subject is of 5 credit than total points in 50 if you score A in that subject if B than 40 so for SGPA calculation, total points for the subject and divide it by total credits allocated for the subject in this way you can ger SGPA. For CGPA, add total SGPA and divide it by total credits of all subjects in all semesters in this way you get CGPA.

SHUATS offers a full-time BTech course with 14 specialisations. Admission for a BTech course is subject to a valid score in the SHUATS Online Entrance Test (SOET) for Agricultural Engineering, Food Technology and Dairy Technology specialisations. For the remaining BTech specialisations, admission is subject to online counselling conducted based on the basis of merit (in the last qualifying exam).

SHUATS conducts an online entrance test (SOET) for the selection of students to a few of the BSc courses. The 2025 schedule for the exam has not been released yet. However, based on previous year's schedules, SHUATS 2025 is expected to be conducted in the month of July. The registration process for the same generally starts in March and lasts till June.

Yes, SHUAts extends its support to underprivileged Christian students through various ways. One of the ways is reservation of seats. As per SHUAT MBA seat reservation policy, 50% seats for candidates of the Christian community. Candidates seeking admission to these seats must attach proper community proof while applying for the prefred course.
