School of Planning and Architecture (SPA) Delhi offers a full-time Master of Architecture (M.Arch) course of a two-year duration. Admission to the PG course is based on valid GATE or CEED scores. SPA Delhi offers MArch in three specialisations, including Architectural Conservation, Landscape Architecture, and Urban Design. The final selection for admission to this course is based on performance in the qualifying exam, portfolio of work, personal interaction with faculty and/or written test, interest and motivation for the chosen study and work experience. No, GATE is not compulsory as a valid rank in CEED is also acceptable. GATE is just one of the criteria for selection. Hence, candidates without a GATE score can also apply. Admission to all the popular courses such as BArch and MArch is through national-level exams such as GATE/CEED/JEE Main (Paper-II). However, for the PhD course, admission is merit-based. Candidates' academic records and eligibility criteria fulfilment are the criteria for selection. Further, the organisation believes in providing equal opportunities and hence there is no home state quota.

SPA Delhi was ranked in the fifth position by NIRF in the Architecture category. Hence, it tops many of the NITs except for NIT Calicut.
