Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research conducts its own entrance exam for admission to UG, PG and MBA programmes. The test is conducted for three hours and includes a total of 180 multiple-choice questions. Besides, the deemed-to-be university also accepts NEET-UG, NEET-MDS and other national-level entrance exams for admission to specific courses.

Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education admission is both merit and entrance-based. The university conducts an entrance exam for admission to some of the UG and PG courses such as BSc, MSc, etc. Admission to some of the courses is based on merit of the aspirants in the last qualifying exam. Aspirants who are selected need to participate in counselling process to get a seat in the university.

SRIHER Cutoff 2024 for the last-round was released for admission to MD, MS and MCh courses. The cutoff was on the basis of candidates' performance in the NEET PG exam. The cutoff ranks among the General AI category candidates was closed between ranks 8851 and 110023. Lookig at the cutoff rank, it is evident that admission to SRIHER at 30000 rank is possible.
