Sriher a glimpse. Absolutely good infrastructure and social life. The faculty is very friendly.
Placements: Our course doesn't have placement arrangements. So I have no idea about it. I don't know what I should say about this topic. But our college does provide a 6-month internship programme within the campus to have hands-on experience with everything we have learnt in these years.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available are top-notch. There are no compensations for infrastructure. All classrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi connections, smart boards, projectors, etc. The library has a vast number of books about various fields of study and journals. The canteen facilities and medical facilities are good because they have their hospital set up as this is a medical college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Almost most of them are Ph.D. holders or MBBS doctors with an MD degree. The teaching quality is good but few faculty members can improve a bit. This course curriculum is very relevant and makes students industry-ready by providing hands-on work in the labs. Semesters are not very easy nor they are very tough. They are of medium level of difficulty. Except for one or two in the class mostly all others pass.

Best for facilities, good exposure, satisfied experience.
Placements: Ramchandra consistently gives high placement rate of 98% securing each year some have also been placed to companies in UK and US. Specific recruiting companies are not known but opportunities in hospital, healthcare institutions and research organizations are given. Top roles offered are clinical microbiologist, research scientist, academic lecturer. Specific the highest and the lowest salary is not known but for B.Sc. degree average package is 2.4LPA and for M.Sc. it is 3.6LPA
the B.Sc. programme includes a 6 month internship period mostly everyone who scores above average gets into internships but specific companies are not known.
Infrastructure: the Wi-Fi services are extended to hostels and day scholars. There are separate hostel for male and female, single rooms are also provided. The rooms are well furnished with attached bathrooms sometimes both single and double occupancy is there. Other facility like gym play areas etc. Are there and hostel mess and canteen provides hygienic veg and non veg food and medical facility is excellent and properly provided. Campus has open amphitheater and gym exposing to various sports activities.
Faculty: Yes the professors assistant professors and tutors together provide a great learning experience to us they are well educated and knowledgeable. The teachers are approachable and provide good teaching. Yes the curriculum is relevant and test our subject knowledge regularly. The semester exams are easy if all the internal tests and model exams are taken seriously by the students as these minor exams are really important for revision and test practice the pass percentage is mostly 99% everyone passes the exam in most of the years.
Other: I chose this course because I am really interested in microbiology and also medical field as this course was a mix of both I wanted to join here. The best things are that we get to do a lot of practical where we understand the whole theory concept and we perform tests and staining and its a lot of fun honesty we also learn about body immunology cancer Biology etc. Like its an exposure to various other fields also. Things I would like to improve are more hands on experience since 1st and 2nd years and more practical and equip students during all period sometimes we are just free with no scheduled period. Events are excellently organised and many events are conducted through out the year for culturals all festivals and some college related events etc. Also the connectivity is good for students to commute and local area has various centers like book stores eateries and all needs. Srmc offers a merit based scholarship based on academic performance and income criteria where we get a scholarship of 50% refund if we have 80% attendance and family income less than 5LPA and performing 80% CGPA. Other activities are also given huge importance where many clubs are assigned for the students and they can join in any club and more than one also.
