• Applicants who have studied in Regular, Full time and Formal Education are eligible to apply
• If you are a native of Tamil Nadu, then you have to apply for the counselling on the official website of TNAU, for which the link will be activated after the board exam results. If you are from other states, then you have to write an entrance examination conducted by ICAR, and for that entrance you have to apply through ICAR website.
• The admission will be on the basis of the performance in the qualifying examination (10+2).

Tamil Nadu Agricultural University offers multiple 4 year courses under the B.Tech discipline. Therefore, the fees for B.Tech in TNAU vary from INR 36,000 to INR 3.32 Lakhs depending on the course you select. For instance, B.Tech in Biotechnology will cost a student INR 36,000 and B.Tech in Bioinformatics will cost INR 3.32 lakhs. In addition to the tuition fees, the university takes a one-time payment of INR 9,425 during the admission process.

The 2023 cutoff for undergraduate courses at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) is based on merit. The cutoff for general category students is expected to be between 190 and 180 marks, while BC students can expect a cutoff of 185 to 170 marks. Step two: Click on the Apply Now button against the PG or PhD course.

Step three: Register by filling in the required details. Provide the correct mobile number and email ID.

Step four: Once the ID and password are generated fill out the online application form.

Step five: Pay the application fee.

Step six: Upload scanned documents.

The eligibility criteria for admission to all the undergraduate and postgraduate programme is different at TNAU. As per the basic eligibility criteria for admission to UG programmes, the candidates must have qualified class 12 or equivalent exam with a minimum of fifty percent aggregate. While for admission to PG programmes candidates must have completed graduation with a minimum of fifty percent aggregate in the relevant discipline.
