Overall, the experience is positive, especially for those pursuing Masters and Ph.D. degrees.

Placements: It's not always 100 percent, but most of the engineering students got placed. Some were placed in prestigious positions like NASA, ISRO, etc. Almost all students secure internships in various companies. The oil sector predominantly recruits a larger number of students from the university.

Infrastructure: The labs need improvement; however, the classrooms are excellent. The university boasts a sophisticated central library. Hostels are hygienic and can accommodate approximately 450 students each. The health center remains active for students at all times. The sports facilities are very good.

Faculty: The teachers are very good and helpful, with teaching quality above average. The semesters are challenging, with numerous exams, assignments, and presentations making the academic schedule quite hectic. Nevertheless, this structure helps students in their post-academic life.

Other: The teachers are very helpful and friendly. There's a need for improvement in the labs, and extracurricular activities and scholarships are beneficial. The campus Wi-Fi exists, but the internet is very slow and requires an upgrade.

Very much satisfied with the faculty members.

Placements: Only a few campus placements per year. Especially in some companies like oil, and in few coaching institutes as faculty. Although campus placement is not good most of the teachers make you well prepared for future opportunities. If you want to continue your studies to postdoc level there are many teachers in the department whose recommendation works very well. Many of our alumni are engaged in many attractive institutions.

Infrastructure: Very well organized classrooms. The department has many expensive laboratory facilities. Only a very few institutions in India has so much research facilities. If you look into the condition of education in the northeastern states of India my department is one of the most glorious chemical Science departments in chemistry education.

Faculty: A complete updated syllabus. If someone is very much dedicated to the syllabus they can easily crack CSIR net or GATE examination. The teachers are very much supportive. One can personally approach any teacher regarding any topic. There are many good teachers in the department. Most of them had an attractive career. Under their guidance, I'm feeling very lucky.

Other: Many extracurricular activity is going within the campus. One can easily participate in anything they are fond of.
