Thapar University Patiala MSc admission is done on the basis of merit scored in Class 12 and UG. 40% weightage to Class 12 marks and 60% weightage to graduation marks is given. The MSc in Physics course offers three sub-specialisations: Nuclear Science and Technology, Modern Electronics, and Materials Technology. No, Class 12 marks are not enough to get into Thapar University since the university mainly admits students on an entrance basis only. Students have to provide national-level entrance exam score to get selected. The university considers JEE Mains, NEET, CUET, etc. in addition to Class 12 marks. You
