Review of The ICFAI University, Dehradun.

Placements: Almost 100% of students from our course get placed. The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges from 3-4 LPA. Top Recruiting companies like Infosys, TCS, and more multinational companies visit our college to hire students from our course. Almost 100% of students from our course got an internship in companies like TCS, Infosys, Trident, Wipro, etc.

Infrastructure: Our college is situated in a rural area, which is the worst. There is no hostel facility on the campus. Still, there are two options for the accommodation, i.e., either take PG or flat near the college or take the flat in the city which is 12-20 kilometers away from the college. The infrastructure of our college is good, but it is not like other universities. Classrooms are good in our college. There is a good Wi-Fi facility on the campus. It has good computer labs, a separate library for law students, a sports ground, Xerox shop, stationery shop, small auditorium with the capacity of 250-300 students, a cafe and a rich moot court hall.

Faculty: The faculty members' team is outstanding. Professors are highly educated, and their dedication towards students is what makes them effective. Extra classes are provided by the professors, and for the weak students, special classes are organised. The most wonderful part of our college which makes it stand out from the crowd is seminars of a national-level which are conducted by our college. Moot court competitions are also held in both inter and intra-levels.

College is awesome and gives number of opportunities to its students.

Placements: Placements are good enough in this university. Many known famous companies visit here for placements such as Volkswagen and many more. Our maximum seniors has been placed in best qualitative companies. They got good salary packages as well. The best part of this college that it provides internship programs not only to the third year students but also to the second year students as well.

Infrastructure: Here we have well-equipped labs with various instruments and apparatuses. Each branch or stream of B.Tech have specified labs including workshop. For the seminars and other occasion al things college has enormous auditorium. It has also provided us huge underground parking area for our vehicles. Most of the sports equipments has provided by college and it conclude a large area of sports complex of ICFAI.

Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified. They have experience and knowledge to share with the students. They are so cooperative and helpful to students. They give full permission to clearout the queries regarding the subjects. They motivate to every students to do something new innovative.

Other: Every year our university organize fest in which sports, dancing, singing, drama, quizzes and many more extracurricular activities has been organized.

Descent college if you are searching for your graduation college then u should go for it.

Placements: As per my experience its not good as I'm from mechanical department so there is less number of vacancies are there so but placements for computer Science and electronics branch is good they are having good placements record till now so I will rate the placement of IUD (ITS) is about 3 out of 5.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good as I'm a student who is much more interested in sports so there is a ground for cricket court for badminton and volleyball and most of the sports management is quite supportive about sports they provide all the support from there side and there is no any hostels inside the college for boys as well as girls.

Faculty: They are supportive and the qualifications are really good they are really helpful from nature so as a student I never face any type of problem from faculty members. If I talk about course curriculum then its really one of the best course curriculum which icfai group follow in their study system.

Overall, the college is good apart from placements. The environment and faculty are good.

Placements: The placements were very bad. I have to take an average package of Rs. 10,000 to 15,000 per month. It was quite same for our seniors too. Some of them got good jobs, but if we take as an average, it was same. Percentage of students placed was approximately 90%. There were very few companies who visited the campus. Most of them were small-scale industries. Roles offered were supervisors and not more than that. Our college offers 100 percent internship, but you have to go where they fix it. There was no stipend for those internships. We have a placement cell. It was not effective in any expect.

Infrastructure: It's too small to be called a university, but facilities are okay. We have a nice classroom, and labs are best. The library is fine, and Wi-Fi is available. Sports and games are okay. The quality of food in the college and around the college is too good. The hostel facilities are good. I didn't face any issues about infrastructure in my tenure.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified and very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good but could be improved. Teaching methods in my branch were theoretical and practicals only. The ratio of students to teachers was 1 faculty: 15 students. We got industrial exposure twice in my tenure. First one was of Parley biscuit factory and the second one was of Amber which was an AC manufacturing unit. The course curriculum was useful.

Other: Events are not good. The campus crowd is okay. The connectivity is good. The campus surrounding is great. There were no scholarships in my tenure and activities are very less.

Having great experience in ICFAI UNIVERSITY. DEHRADUN.

Placements: The college has great Placements. All the reputed companies come here for campus recruitment. The placements for all branches takes place whether in mechanical or any other branch. Firstly company offers a training period for 3-6 months, and then they will get selected for the permanent employee. The Company offers a fair package for the students, and most of the students get a job as a permanent employee after a training period. Also while in internship period they get an attractive stipend. Mostly all the students from final year get the internship and a secured job. Students get the helpful and important resource from our placement cell. The head of the placement cell is also very helpful, especially for the final year students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is innovative, exciting, and attractive. The Classrooms kept cleaned and maintained. All the staffs behave kindly to students. There are separate libraries for law and engineering students however both can go to each other libraries. Libraries are air-conditioned. Toilets are well cleaned. Proper hygiene strictly followed in the canteen. Indoor and outdoor games are provided to the students and so that whose interest in extracurricular activities also maintained and encouraged. All the accessories exist for games, and a big ground for the outdoor game is available. For indoor games, separate rooms are available to the students. Doctor, ambulance and other medical facilities are available in our college. Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. They provide all the facilities like food cafeteria, transportation, Wi-Fi. Discipline is well maintained in our college as well as I hostel. All the necessary needs are provided in the hostel. Being a mechanical engineering student, we have a lab which consists of the automobile equipment in which students learn about engine work etc., and also workshops.

Faculty: All the faculty members are having a minimum of 5-6 years of experience. They are also holding a doctorate. The faculty members teaching is great with patience and interest. Professors are too cooperative. Students get the industry exposure in industries by the college campus. All faculty members encourage the students not only in study but also in extracurricular activities.

Other: ICFAI is a non profitable organisation that's why our fees structure is comparatively low from other private colleges.

Other: ICFAI is a brand, it has around 11 universities in India and also overseas presence. The campus is good but is in campus hostel is not yet available, so one will surely miss the campus and hostel life. Faculties are better than many of the leading private universities and course structure is very good. Overall academics is a way better than average. Labs and infrastructure, especially for the mechanical stream are excellent. The campus is happening, but it lacks in advertising that's why people of Dehradun are not much familiar with it. College severely lacks in good campus placements. The fee is very genuine and one will never be overcharged. And also, if one is meritorious, he'll get a heavy discount on fees.

Overall the college is very poor for B.Tech don't take admission from my point of view .

Placements: The ICFAI University Dehradun provides poor placement, their is 1st batch of mechatronics and we are from 2nd batch but No one get placed yet from mechatronics branch B.Tech. College doesn't provide any internship programme only they will fake you.2.5 Lacs the highest and 1.5 is the lowest package .

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure Is average. Yes they provide Wi-Fi, labs are good, classroom are average, but library is excellent. They don't have their own hostel, students stay on rent rooms they hire two to three PGS. Canteen facilities are below average, medical facilities I don't know, for sports they don't have a proper ground, they have small ground average sports and games facilities.

Faculty: From my point of view, few teachers are very helpful and qualified but most of the teachers are not knowledgeable. This is very new course for us and for University so we both don't know that this will make a student industry ready. Exams are average, and passing percentage is depend on that students who make the highest in class. About 33%. .

Other: The no of students in my batch is only 3 and total B.Tech strength is 18 that's by most companies doesn't come to college for recruitment (strength matters). I will tell you about their scholarship programme, at the time of admission they told me that every student who will get above 8 CGPA they provide scholarship but after admission they came and told that from new orders only one student will get scholarship. So be carefull at the time of admission. Every year they use this fake.
