University of Calicut admissions are offered based on a preset admission criteria. Students need to clear all the steps to get a seat at the university. Calicut University Application Process 2026
Candidates must register on the official website of Calicut University. Once registered can now fill out the online application form online and pay the application fee. For the UG courses, it is mandated to register through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). Students can register at the Calicut University official website through the university's Directorate of Admissions.
Calicut University Shortlisting
The University shortlists candidates based on their performance in the course-wise entrance exams. For most of the UG courses CAP exam is valid. For few PG courses, the university conducts its entrance exams, CUCAT for shortlisting candidates.
Calicut University Admission Confirmation

University of Calicut Admission 2026 FAQs
The modes of Calicut University courses admission are online and offline. Calicut University offers UG, PG Diploma and doctoral courses, under 35 different departments divided into nine schools, for different streams, such as Engineering, Science, Law, Commerce and Management, among others. In addition to the regular courses, the university also has a School for Distance Education, Calicut University offering UG and PG courses. Calicut University admission for the majority of its UG and PG courses will be conducted through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). CAP offers the facility for online submission of applications to various colleges and courses under Calicut University. Admission is open for most of the courses.
