Honest review of fests and infrastructure.
Placements: For my course, placement opportunities are limited. For commerce courses, the placement opportunities are good. Companies like KPMG, Zomato, Wipro, and Capgemini provide job offers. The average pay is 3-4 LPA, varying by company and role.
Infrastructure: We do not have a hostel, but the college infrastructure is better than other colleges. The canteen is spacious. The library is large and has a variety of books on different subjects. Labs have the necessary technical equipment. Wi-Fi is available.
Faculty: My course teachers are helpful and supportive. The psychology faculty of our college is great. The curriculum is aligned with today's requirements but could be improved to meet industry standards. More practical knowledge should be provided rather than theoretical. Exams are moderate to hard.
Other: There are different societies like departmental, NSS, NCC, cultural, dramatics, music, and ERC. Events are conducted from time to time, and the fests are average.

College life is good, but the college timetable is not good.
Placements: This is a four-year course, and placements are about 10-20% because most students pursue a master’s degree. The top roles offered in this course are philosophy professor, motivational speaker, or school teacher.
Infrastructure: There are Wi-Fi network issues, but the library and classrooms are neat and clean. The canteen food is good and reasonably priced. The college societies are well organized, and you can find your type of society once you join. Many more opportunities are available if you are interested.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful and supportive, but some are not. The main issue is the student timetable. This is not as good as in other colleges. The exams are conducted well, and the passing percentage is 60 percent, which is easy to achieve.
Other: I did not choose this course. I upgraded, so that is how I got this course and college. There are annual fests, but no Dandiya night, fresher’s party, or Diwali mela.

Mata Sundri College for Women, DU review.
Placements: Though I am a fresher and do not know much about placements. The placement cell of the college provides good opportunities. Students are placed with attractive packages. Students are placed in various reputed companies.
Infrastructure: Facilities are very good, with a stationery shop in the college, a large canteen, and a well-stocked library with all the important books we may need. Labs are good, and there are spacious halls, auditoriums, and a gurudwara in the college. Proper medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are good, friendly, and understanding in times of need. All teachers excel in their subjects and are experienced in their respective fields. The course curriculum is relevant. The exams are not very difficult.

Neutrally satisfied. Good in terms of surroundings. Poor infrastructure and average facilities.
Placements: Many students in my college have been placed and have placement experience. Around 30 to 40% of my college batch have secured positions in some reputable companies all over India, especially in Delhi. Some top recruiting companies for my course, that is B.Sc. Computer Science, are Accenture, Microsoft, Shops, Meesho, etc. For my course, around 10 to 20% students have got internship. The top roles offered in my course are tech-based.
Infrastructure: The faculty members and infrastructure available for our department, like Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms, are good. We have good Wi-Fi facilities. The labs have working computers and AC, and the classrooms are also average. The library has good working AC and many other facilities. Our college has no hostel facilities. Talking about the food in the mess, it is average in taste and affordable. Medical facilities are available and different facilities for physically challenged students are also available, like special toilets.
Faculty: The teachers are not really knowledgeable, but they are efficiently qualified. They are helpful, but as in my course, their helpfulness is not really useful. They lack teaching skills. The course curriculum is not really relevant as it does not make the students industry-ready, but it only makes the student knowledgeable in a theoretical way and not in a skillful manner. The semester exams in my college are not really difficult. They are average in difficulty level, and the passing percentage is around 40 percent, but attendance is compulsory 70 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to take admission in Delhi University, and the best things about my course are that it provides different knowledge in the tech industry, like coding, which is beneficial in today’s generation job. The things that I wish were better about my course is that it could have provided more practical knowledge than theoretical knowledge. My college has fewer events, and the campus crowd is average. Surroundings are good, and scholarship chances are very less. As in extracurricular activities, our college is not active.

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics - Batch of 2029
Offered by Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi

4Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Great faculty and good placement record.
Placements: Around 30-40 per cent of the students get placed every year, with the rest aiming for higher studies. The average package is around 6-7 LPA. The students avail internships mostly from LinkedIn or the societies/clubs they are a part of. There is also a placement/internship cell that provides students with internships based on their course for a corporate background.
Infrastructure: The library at Kirori Mal College is a 3-floor building with the ground and first floor being reserved for the books and the second floor for reading rooms/computer labs. It is quite excellent as there is a massive collection of books and the reading rooms are spacious and ventilated, i.e., perfect for studying. The classrooms are a bit on the older side in terms of infrastructure. The walls are a bit crumbly and cracked. The Wi-Fi is also not as prevalent and often lags at times. Facilities for sports are plenty, with a basketball court, football field and a volleyball court.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable, and are always approachable for any problem of sorts. The course curriculum is relevant as it makes the student industry-ready, as well as making them research-ready, as the topics are equally distributed in pure and applied fields. The semester exams are of moderate difficulty, and the pass percentage is around 63%.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2025

Faculty members are good, admin office is a bit slow they need to change the employees.
Placements: The highest package of Vivekanand College is 20 LPA. The lowest package is 2 LPA. This college is really very nice. Many big companies come here for the interview.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this college is very nice. It is as good as north campus colleges. It has a big building with lifts and a lot of greenery like plants, flowers, and trees. It is a good campus for fests and for photography. This college is a gem.
Faculty: Faculty members are well educated and also very much understanding. They support you, cheer you to achieve your goal, and push you from your comfort zone so that you can do anything in life. Administrative is a bit slow and rude even with the teachers. Faculty members are very cooperative and good. It has nice teachers with amazing teaching skills and understanding.
Other: Fest rates are very low in this college because it's off campus but I think they should increase the rate of fests.
