Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com. Hons.) - Batch of 2028

Good college for exposure.
Placements: Last year there were around 200 placements, mostly in the B.Com department. The highest package is above 30 LPA and the average is 10 LPA. Big 4 companies in consulting, accounting, and marketing all come. Students get front-end consulting roles and other impressive roles.
Infrastructure: I don't live in a hostel, so I don't have much idea. Seats are very low, but it is as nice as I have heard. The college is fully AC. The classrooms are big, and benches and other furniture are good. There is a gym, medical room, girls' common room, and other rooms for sports and society.
Faculty: Faculty is well experienced and are high achievers. They are really good with their subjects. Teaching quality is fairly good. The course curriculum is helpful, but it's not exactly everything needed to prepare us for the corporate world. Semester exams are 6/10, moderately difficult. It's really easy to just pass, but a good CGPA is very important.
Other: I love the vibe. Good value for money and great crowd. Events, fests, and connectivity are all great.

Great faculty, good placements, and excellent campus environment.
Placements: Around 75% of students get placed through campus drives. The average package is 4 LPA, the highest package is 9 LPA, and the lowest is around 3 LPA. Around 65% of students secure internships in audit, accounting, finance, and consulting roles.
Infrastructure: The college offers smart classrooms, computer labs, Wi-Fi, a well-stocked library, and seminar halls. The campus is clean, secure, and well maintained. It also has sports facilities, medical support, and a hygienic canteen. Hostel facilities are decent, with satisfactory food.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified, supportive, and experienced. The curriculum covers commerce, finance, and business concepts with practical exposure through projects and seminars. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and students who attend regularly can score well.
Other: I chose this course because it provides knowledge in commerce and finance with good career opportunities. The college has an active campus life, cultural events, workshops, and good connectivity. More companies with higher salary packages can further improve placements.

Offered by Gargi College, University of Delhi

The college has the best faculty, infrastructure, and societies.
Placements: As a student of B.Com. (Hons), I really want to work for companies like the Big 4, such as Deloitte, and many more. They provide placements in our college. Even in my first year, I see a lot of students get placed through my college, so it feels motivating to be in my college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best, with aesthetic walls, the Art Squad, a ground, and many more facilities. Games and sports are also available here. Different societies provide you with different experiences and many more opportunities. In short, it has one of the best infrastructures.
Faculty: Faculty of Gargi is very helpful and supportive. They are always there to help you or solve your doubts. They are educated and provide practical knowledge along with theoretical knowledge. If we have to talk about the papers, there is a moderate level of difficulty.
Other: The events, societies, and fests are crazy and very enjoyable.

The worst decision I have made to get admission here, it feels like we are still in school.
Placements: I haven't seen anyone get placed in my batch. To be honest, they give no information about the placement camps. Recruiting companies aren't invited to our campus. Once we get information about placement camps from different colleges (Shivaji College) beside our college, but no camps are organised on our college campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college, like labs, classrooms, and the library, is good, but Wi-Fi and AC aren't working properly, even mostly in exams. Air conditioners don't work in summers. We have given exams while sitting at 45 °C. Sometimes air conditioners work, but most of the time they don't. The canteen infrastructure is good, but the quality of food is the worst in terms of taste and very expensive, and even we can't go out of the college to eat. IGNOU students can go out, but we don't have permission. The sports ground is only open for NCC students, not for other students. There are no games and sports.
Faculty: Teachers and teaching quality are good, but there is less practical exposure in the lab. Teachers are helpful, but some teachers are not even qualified and knowledgeable. Semester exams are easy to moderate level. If you have studied for the last 2-3 days before the exam, you can pass them easily.
Other: There are no freshers' parties, graduation day, extracurricular activities, no placement camps organised yet, and no scholarship. Fests are organised 2 times a year, annual fest and the Diwali fest.

Review of Dyal Singh College life.
Placements: I completed my 4th year, but to be honest, I did not get any placement. There is no scope for placement in my college, and if someone is looking to get employed right after graduating, then I don't suggest you join. In the meantime, you can focus on your skills and look for placement outside of the college, but the placement cell of Dyal Singh is not very active, it provides some internships which you can enroll in through the placement cell only.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Dyal Singh College is good, and I like it. You can roam around with friends, and it is not restrictive, it is quite big and open. We also have so many grounds and playgrounds to play on, and just play UNO it is the best part of college life. The buildings are not very aesthetically pleasing they've got cement all over them.
Faculty: My course faculty is very nice and supportive throughout, but when I did my fourth year, no proper guidance was provided to me, so if you are planning to do your fourth year in Dyal Singh College, then I would not recommend it because you are the only one who is in charge of your thesis. Faculty is not very active with you all the way. In the first three years, the faculty is nice and supportive and guides you thoroughly throughout.
Other: Overall, it is a nice college, and it has a good rating as well.

Entering into the magic of LSR, these are the things you should know.
Placements: Many students from the B.A. Programme (History & Political Science) don't even sit in placements because it's mostly the students from the commerce department bagging the highest packages. The top recruiters are usually McKinsey, D. E. Shaw, BCG, etc. The highest package in my course is around 20 LPA. Top roles include policy research consultant.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for my course is good. There are classrooms and libraries and a lot of books available for my course, but the Wi-Fi is weak, and it's only available for third years right now. There is no hostel in LSR for 3 years and this year they have started taking admissions in hostels, as it is finally renovated.
Faculty: There are a lot of knowledgeable and qualified professors for Political Science and History, and they teach very well. My course is quite relevant, as it teaches about public policy, international relations, and history, from the Indus Valley, till right now, Indian history, world history. Talking about the exams, the questions in our semester exams are very repetitive and easy to answer if studied. The pass percentage is 40 percent.
Other: I chose this course as Political Science and History give an upper hand for government exams in the future. The best thing about my course is that it's very relevant, like the syllabus is fit for exams like UPSC CSE or state PCS. In LSR, we have a lot of events and extracurricular activities in different societies. Fests take place, like our annual college fest, Tarang, Diwali, and fest Noor. It's quite vibrant.

No, teachers in this institute are highly biased like Mr Das . he mistreats female students and prefer only buttering and Bengalis. so it's better not to destroy your career in this worthless institute if you are Hard working.

According to me, if you are getting a seat in DU, choose it as your priority. DU is a better choice in terms of academics and affordable fees.

LPU is a good option if you want modern infrastructure, a diverse campus, practical learning, internships, and placement support. But the decision is yours,
