Lucknow University college review.

Placements: Only 10% of students are placed from our college. The average salary package offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. Basic marketing companies visit for recruitment. Most of our class students opt for further studies. There is no internship opportunity in our college. If one is doing it on their own, it is good for them. But nothing is provided by college.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good but needs some development. Our college has library and Wi-Fi. Hostel facility is good. Our hostel has library and free Wi-Fi. In hostel, we are provided with washing machines, induction, and geyser which is good for anyone to live in and mess facilities are average.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified almost all are studied from our college. Course curriculum is well-structured and one will learn a lot from our course. Semester examinations are up to level. It's not too difficult and not too easy. We have to study well for the exam.

Other: I chose this course due to the increasing demand for software developers all across the world. I hope they improve the infrastructure of our department. Events are organised but are very few of them are organised.

It is the first university of NEP 2020.

Placements: Placements are not 100% at our university but the study is too good and faculty also. About 30-40% placement is being per year not more than. HCL, Tata, etc., are the main companies that bring students for placement and the salary package offered is around 2 LPA - 4 LPA mostly. Some placements are in Lucknow city also.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is too good on the campus of Lucknow University. Computer labs are available for postgraduate and undergraduate separately. The cyber library is also available for both undergraduates and postgraduate all day of the week from 8 am to 4 pm.

Faculty: Faculty members on campus are very nice. All classes are taken continuously for 6 days a week. Curriculum courses are also available. In each semester, we can choose any curriculum subject. Exams are neither more difficult nor too easy. Courses are available semester and yearly wise also.

I am satisfied with it because of the good facilities.

Placements: Almost 95% of students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3 LPA. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. I do not know about the top recruiting companies that visit our college to hire students. About 90% of students from our course got an internship.

Infrastructure: It provides good facilities and infrastructure in our course like the high-speed Wi-Fi, labs for experiments, huge classrooms and a library. The quality of the facilities in our hostel is good. The quality of food served in our mess and canteen is good. It provides good quality medical facilities. Sports and games are also good here.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also very good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams in this college are not much hard. The pass percentage of this college is 90%. Seniors also help the junior students here.

Other: I have chosen this course because I know what I can do in the future. All things available in the college are good.

Great infrastructure, good faculties, poor industry exposure. poor placements. Cheap but worth it.

Placements: Placements were conducted for the profiles such as process executives and executive programmers majorly. The packages were in range of 2 Lacs to 5 Lacs. Major companies were BPOs and the profiles were like wise. Internships were not that great. People managed to do it on their own. No stipends were offered.

Infrastructure: The infra was very good. Well-equipped library. Labs were great and classrooms were well-equipped. Tbe college was not that great with sports facilities. Canteen was cheap but the quality was good enough. Hygiene was well kept into consideration. Recommended for snacks only.

Faculty: Faculty was very updated and well qualified. There was anyways lack of visiting industry professionals but yes there were few seminars and events were managed anyhow to get that required exposure time to time. The curriculum was not that updated as per required for industry parameters.

Other: Sports events were a great success every year. Events like technical and professional meets were not that frequent but yes were upto the mark.

University Of Lucknow: Excellent Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities.

Placements: As a former student of the University Of Lucknow , I must say that the placement opportunities provided by the university were sorely lacking. About 10% students recieved placement at a very low package of around 2-4 lakhs. The top recruiting companies were Tech Mahindra, Tcs, HCL offering the position of web designer, data operator. Only 5-10% students recieved internships by Tech Mahindra and some other companies.

Infrastructure: One of the highlights of my experience at the University Of Lucknow was the quality of infrastructure and hostel facilities. The classroom and lecture halls were spacious and well-lit. The Tagore Library is one the best library in Asia with computer labs which are fully connected to wifi and is open for all the students. The campus also has excellent sports facilities including cricket ,football field, basketball courts and gymnasium. The hostel is well maintained with all the facilities including the medical and security assistance.The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is good and there are about 6-7 canteens in the campus.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are highly qualified and helpful except some. They are helpful and friendly with the students and the overall learning experience is good. But the course curriculum offered does not make students industry ready. Many of the tools and softwares which must be a part of the curriculum are not there. The semester exams are moderately difficult then also about 50-60% students clearly pass all the subjects.

Other: I personally choose the course because it is the best offered course in Lucknow. The learning experience at the campus is the best part as the teachers are the best in their respective subjects. If the placement opportunities for the students will increase then the overall experience can be also great. There are a lot of events and fest conducted at the campus where all the students can enjoy the campus life as well.
