    Review of University of Lucknow.
    Placements: The placement in our course is not up to the mark but the placement rates in other courses like B.Teach is far better than ours. Their placement rate is much better and companies also comes for the placement. The average package that students get is 3 LPA - 4 LPA.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our courses department and hostel is fine. In the library, the books are of high quality and good authors are available. The books are available in hindi and english also the library which is beneficial for students of english medium as well as hindi medium. The quality of the food available in the mess and canteen is also good and taste is also fine in the hostel.
    Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and skilled. They have to pass the UGC NET exam to teach at the university. They are also very helpful to the students. The semester exams are of average standard. Approximately 70 - 80% of students passed exams and the rest of the students gave their back exams.
    Other: I selected the masters in economics because I was interested in the economy of the country. This course helps you in better understanding of the economy of the world which is the very important aspect in today's world. This scholarship is provided to general, OBC, SC and ST students and also to the EWS students.

    Honesty, no lies—that’s LU.
    Placements: To be honest, I have no idea about this because, in my course, there is no placement. Because of teacher disengagement, they are not at all interested in telling you. Not even they provide internships. In the name of internships, they ask you to make files.
    Infrastructure: Very old infrastructure because of the old campus, that's why everything is built in an old way. But yes, the washrooms are also dirty—only teachers' washrooms are clean. There are many libraries in the university, but as I said again, old infra. I don't know about hostel life because I am not in a hostel. Thank you.
    Faculty: In my course, teachers are a little bit arrogant. And they are a little bit overconfident. They don’t treat students in a good way. They talk sometimes very badly. I have faced it once, so I know how it feels. But it's okay. They are not too supportive, although some of them are very good.
    Other: Overall, the college is good, but my course is not that good.

    All of the things are good in this college. Sometimes, management faculty members are not available.
    Placements: As we know, Master of Arts is not a professional course; rather, it complements your academics. So, there is no placement guarantee in this course. The highest package is 10 LPA, and the lowest is 5 LPA. Students graduated from this college are in well-known positions.
    Infrastructure: All the infrastructure and facilities are quite good, but there are no hostel facilities available in the college. Yet, the college is located in the center of Lucknow, so there is no issue with conveyance. Rooms are also available near the college. It is better to gain admission to this college.
    Faculty: Teachers are friendly in nature and support the students throughout the duration of the course. All the teachers are well-qualified. This course allows students to grow in their respective fields. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are a little tough. The passing percentage is 33%.
    Other: I want to become a professor, so I chose this course. In our college, this course is provided as a self-finance course. 50% of the fees are refunded through scholarships for OBC students.

    Excellence in Teaching 2024.
    Placements: 0% students placed in course, 0 LPA package offered in course, no companies are recruiting, 0 students got internship in course, and no roles offered in course. Only students have to choose this course who are preparing for UPSC or UGC NET exam and other government exams.
    Infrastructure: Wi-Fi available in department, library is available in department, and classroom is well managed. Fans and AC are also equipped. I have not taken hostel; case of top rankers will get hostel facility according to entrance exams which are conducted at the time of admission.
    Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is excellent, and experienced teacher faculty are available. Semester exam is not tough if studied. The passing percentage of semester exam is overall 33% in each subject.
    Other: I have chosen this course for making it optional to this subject in UPSC. It can be improved by offering internship opportunities to the students from industry or other public areas.

    Review of University of Lucknow.
    Placements: For masters in economics there is no such opportunity like getting placed or anything, although the University of Lucknow does offer placement in courses like MBA but in economics you'll not get any sign of direct placement in the history of Lucknow University.
    Infrastructure: Lucknow University has better infrastructure if we compare it to other government colleges in the state or city; it has proper air-conditioned libraries with unlimited access, as well as computer systems to help you out with your studies. Classes, labs, everything is in quite decent condition.
    Faculty: Here you won't get any problem with faculty, as university selects professors from the top universities of India Course structures are not up to par if we compare it to those of the University of Delhi or JNU. Semester exams here are no big deal. You just have to go through class notes and that'll be enough to pass the semester exams.
    Other: I chose to pursue this course because I had an interest in economics and selected this college because that was the last best thing available among all the deserving institutes. The course curriculum and the entrance exam should be up to the mark .

    Placements: 25% of students were placed in different areas like urban planner, GIS specialist, Remote sensing, etc. Most of the students qualified JRF and doing research on various topics such as natural hazards, population dynamics, and urbanization. People may also go in cartography, environmental consultant and climatologist.
    Infrastructure: Yes, there were good classrooms and libraries. It's a well-equipped university with modern infrastructure that can enhance the learning environment, research capabilities and student comfort. This university plays a vital role in enhancing the overall college experience for students.
    Faculty: Yes, teachers are knowledgeable; some are the best and some are good. They provide valuable insights, guidance and support to students in their journey. The teachers at the university are highly qualified in their respective fields and are passionate about imparting knowledge to students.
    Other: For me, geography is a very interesting subject. Actually, I was preparing for civil services examinations when I realized it was really a good subject to learn and geography helps you understand the world around you by exploring relationships between people, place and the environment. It allows you to learn about different landscape and global issues such as climate change, urbanization and natural disasters. And it also opens up diverse career opportunities in fields like urban planning, environmental management and research.
