If a Student fails to have the minimum attendance, the principal shall approve the shortage of attendance up to a maximum limit of 10% after collecting the prescribed fee of INR 250 each for Theory/Practical exams separately. Anna University releases the TANCET results within a month of the exam date. Soon after the release of the TANCET results, Anna University schedules the release of TANCET scorecard. Candidates can download the TANCET scorecard using the same link within a specified period. Based on the previous year's time schedule, Anna University will release the TANCET application form around the first week of February. Candidates aspiring for MBA or MCA admission in 200+ colleges of Tamil Nadu will have to apply for the TANCET exam. All successful applicants are issued the TANCET hall ticket around 10 days before the exam date. As per the typical schedule, TANCET registration is available for a period nearing to one month. Candidates must stay cautious of the deadlines if they wish to apply for the TANCET exam.

Madras University Cutoff 2024 has been released for the affiliated colleges for the last round for admission to MBA and MCA specialisations based on TANCET scores. The cutoff was released for different categories under the All India quota. Considering the TANCET MBA cutoff 2024, the S.A. College of Arts and Science has a cutoff rank of 6266, Sri Sankara Arts and Science College (SSASC) has 6041 rank.
