I was fortunate to attend UNOM; I had a better experience compared to my undergraduate university.

Placements: The Department of Politics and Public Administration does not offer placements. However, 100% of students completed internships with private organizations, public organizations, and non-governmental organizations as well. The department will provide good career guidance to help choose a path after graduation and support us through it.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent. It has Wi-Fi, good classroom facilities with automatic drinking water, a conference hall equipped with projectors, and a library with all the books related to the department, along with a main library open to all university students. From what I've heard, the hostel facilities are also good. They prioritize sports and conduct sports days. I am unaware of the M.Ed facilities.

Faculty: The university has excellent professional teachers who are sweet, calm, and brilliant. Yes, it makes students industry-ready since it’s a postgraduate-level program. Semesters are not tough because, before each semester, we have two sessional exams for internal marks. They cover the material well in these two small tests, making it easier to prepare for the semester exam.

Other: It’s a government university, and the fees are affordable compared to private universities. For my course, it’s around Rs. 5,000. The campus is spacious and has many great spots. It even has an NSS, a canteen, and a senate. The campus celebrates every occasion like Onam and Pongal, which is wonderful.
