UPES BDes Eligibility & Highlights 2025

The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies offers a four-year full-time BDes programme under the stream of Computer Applications and Design.

BDes is offered in eight specialisations with a duration of four years.

Examination Pathway

Non-Examination Pathway

Qualifying exams: UPESDAT/ JEE Main/ UCEED/ NID DAT

Eligibility criteria: Class 10 and Class 12 in any stream from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate

Qualifying exam: Board merit

Eligibility criteria: Class 10 and Class 12 in any stream from a recognised board with a minimum of 60% aggregate

Yes, UPES Dehradun does accept CAT scores for MBA admissions. Students with a valid CAT score of 50 percentile or above are eligible to apply for the course. Eligible students have to appear for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds for final selection.
