VIT Chennai PhD Courses & Fees 2026: Admission Dates & Eligibility

The answer to this question depends on the course applied by the candidate. The deemed-to-be university considers entrance exam scores for courses such as BTech, MBA, MTech, MCA, BA LLB (Hons), etc. The institute conducts entrance exams such as VITEEE, VITMEE and VITREE for admission to specific programmes. For courses such as BSc, BBA (Hons), BCom (Hon), etc., selection is merit-based. 

VIT conducts the VITEEE exam as an entrance test for its BTech courses. Candidates have to pay a fee of INR 1350 for the VITEEE application while applying for the VITEEE exam.
