Karnataka PGCET 2024 will be conducted on June 29 and 30, tentatively. Students aspiring to pursue MBA, MCA and M.Tech across the state can apply for the exam. All Indian nationals with a recognised bachelor’s degree, are eligible to appear for the Karnataka PGCET exam. Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) conducts the computer based test once every year. Candidates can apply for the exam online on the official website of Karnataka government.

Yes, VTU is a government university founded by the Government of Karnataka in 1998. Its central administrative offices and the main campus are located in Belgaum, Karnataka. All educational institutions within the state of Karnataka offering Engineering or Technology programmes must seek affiliation with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, unless they possess the necessary consent from VTU and the state government.

Seats at VTU are allocated by KEA, based on the scores of the accepted exams. However, the university promotes inclusivity of students belonging to the minority categories of Karnataka. So the eligibility criteria of minimum aggregate marks in bachelor’s degree is 45% for the minority candidates belonging to Karnataka, as opposed to the minimum aggregate requirement of 50% for all the other candidates.

Karnataka Examination Authority will commence the KCET application form facility after the conclusion of the exam at the official website. Applicants can make changes in the KCET application form in online mode. Candidates are allowed to make changes in certain fields only. Applicants are advised to cross-check all the details before submitting information. KEA do not entertain any request for change in KCET application form after the conclusion of correction facility.
