Placements: Around 200+ students got placed in our college. The highest package offered is around 6-7 LPA. Many big companies like EY, KPMG, Deloitte, Zomato, and IHG visit here for hiring. The top roles offered here are Audit Associate and Sales Associate. The average package is 4-5 LPA. Here placement is good according to graduate courses.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure and is improving day by day. College has the latest desktops and has a large reading hall in the library, which is fully air-conditioned. The construction is going on in the college. An indoor badminton hall is also being built. The whole college is connected to Wi-Fi. College is working and trying to improve its infrastructure.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, and are very experienced and have deep knowledge about their subject, as most of them are Ph.D. holders. In college, teachers are of all types. Some are understandable and helpful, while others are rude. Overall faculty is good in college as they take classes regularly, not like other DU colleges.
Other: B.Com (Hons) is top notch course of DU. It is worth doing this course at this college. But college has a minimum 66.7% attendance criterion, if not followed, students are debarred from giving exams.

Is Shaheed Bhagat Singh College worth it?
Placements: Students who score above 7 CGP get decent placements. Top recruiters are Deloitte, KPMG, Zomato, PWC, Genpact, etc. Almost 91% of students get internships thorugh internship fair. Top courses offered in SBSC are B.Com (h), B.Com (p), English Hons, political Hons, and Hindi Hons.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi access is only for college faculty members and not for students. Labs and the classroom are quite good. New labs will be established soon. Overall, the infrastructure is nice. Sports and games are available. The canteen is not so good. Sometimes they use low-quality products.
Faculty: Some faculty members are nice towards students. But some faculty members not nice. They are knowledgeable persons and are superb. Students who are regular might score above 7.0 CGP. Semester wise students can score 8.0 SCGP. Sometimes, teachers give 3-4 assignments in a single semester. Attendance is mandatory because attendance holds 6 marks.
Other: I chose B.Com (Hons), and it's the best course in SBSC. The only problem is that there are no fests and events held like other colleges. Other than this, everything else is fine.

Study and faculty are good, but dissatisfied with the regular working of the infrastructure.
Placements: I don’t know much about the placements, but there are many companies that come here to recruit students. From my college, many people completed their graduation here and then started their own companies or became very successful entrepreneurs. I don’t know exactly what the real offers are for the students.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good but not the best, and the availability of certain things is not consistent. The canteen food is very less attractive and not value for money. The classes need good tables and chairs for students, as they are not comfortable in the classroom.
Faculty: All the faculty members are good, and there are many activities that happen which help students get involved in different activities. The exams are difficult enough and competitive. The pass percentage is given under conditions where students must attend classes and get a particular percentage or above to pass the criteria.

Vibrant campus life with active societies and strong interaction.
Placements: Around 75% of students from the Commerce department get placed through campus recruitment. The highest package offered is around 18–20 LPA, the lowest is around 3–4 LPA, and the average package is about 4–5 LPA. Top recruiters include Deloitte, EY, KPMG, Zomato, and Wipro. Students get many internship opportunities, and top roles offered include Audit Consultant and Tax Consultant.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The classrooms are well-maintained and spacious. We have many seminar rooms that are well-cleaned, along with both open-air and closed auditoriums where fests and seminars take place. The college also has a multi-purpose sports ground for various activities.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive. I would say many teachers are helpful as well as qualified. We can ask our doubts freely. They answer them properly. Some teachers may be strict and rude, but overall they are good. The courses offered are also relevant to the real world. It makes students industry-ready.
Other: I chose B.Com (Hons) because I came from a Commerce background. It is one of the best options for undergraduate studies. The course helps me gain practical knowledge of taxation, auditing, and laws. I only wish that the college offers better SEC and VAC subjects that are more interesting for students.

I'm satisfied because of the good faculty and placement last year.
Placements: If we talk about placement, the college is nice. The placement cell helps the student with placement. Mostly Deloitte, KPMG, and Big 4 companies came for placements. The average package is around 6 LPA. The college also held campus placement through the placement cell.
Infrastructure: The college lacks a hostel, but it has a nice library, a reading room and a great collection of books. There is a huge auditorium, along with a sports complex, and the sports society Crimson. It is also very active on campus and is equipped with Wi-Fi and smart classrooms.
Faculty: The faculty is very great and supportive, but there is a big issue with attendance. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. There is not much difficulty in passing the exams. The median percentage is around eight CGPA. And great support from the administration.
Other: I chose this course because of its multidisciplinary nature and because of the benefit of placement. There should be improvements in the course regarding the involvement of mathematics as a subject. Also, if we talk about the event, the fest and crowd, there is nothing to worry about. After all, it's Delhi University.

Placements: The placement at our course was good. But the package offered was average. The highest package offered in our course was 7 LPA. The average package was 2-3 LPA. The top recruiting companies, including Accenture, Deloitte, Jefferies, and ICICI Prudential.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our course were good. Wi-Fi sometimes worked. Computer labs were available. A library was present. First aid medical facility was available. Sports and games grounds were available. Canteen food was also good.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of our faculty members was excellent. The course curriculum was relevant. It made students industry ready by involving them in various seminars and workshops. Semester examinations were moderate.

It is a perfect blend of academics and campus life.
Placements: Placements begin in the 2nd year with Big 15s, startups, mid-sized, and service firms. It has smooth process, varied profiles in finance, analysis, auditing, and sales specialists. The highest package is 25 LPA, average is 5 LPA, and medium is 13 LPA - 15 LPA. Same firms also offer internships, 6+ CGPA needed.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this college is good. The library, labs, seminar rooms, and auditorium are well-maintained with ACs. The classrooms are spacious, some with projectors and screens. Wi-Fi is available. The canteen food is hygienic and tasty. Hostels are available nearby at reasonable prices.
Faculty: Faculty members at SBSC are professional and approachable with a balanced ratio. Course has 6-7 subjects per semester, 160 marks for each subject. Exams are moderate, failures are rare. Curriculum is relevant, preparing students academically and professionally. This course definitely makes the students industry-ready.
Other: I chose B.Com. hons here for its finance focus, practical classes, and active societies. Seniors guide well, curriculum is career-oriented, and exams are timely, comfortable, and manageable in difficult. College fests and society fests are held in April-May. Library offers a wide books/journals. Classrooms are well-equipped. Sports and extracurricular activities are vibrant. Active clubs and groups enrich students' life with opportunities and exposure.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College: A true gem.
Placements: Shaheed Bhagat Singh has the second largest commerce department in Delhi University for B.Com Honors others are 8 sections, continuing 60 students each (avg). In 2025, the highest package is 23 LPA, the lowest is around 3 LPA, and the average is around 5.5 LPA. The recruiting companies are Deloitte, D.E. Shaw, Zomato, EY, ISSC, KPMG, PWC, Accenture, etc. Around 15% to 20% of students got internships. The Top role offered in 2025 is an associate at D. E Shaw.
Infrastructure: Bhagat Singh has good infrastructure, it has its Gyan Prasar Kendra, counseling unit, medical facilities, security, AC library, girls' common room with AC, sports facility, canteen, and cafeteria section. There is one open-air auditorium, conference, and seminar rooms. They have ACs in block C classrooms, advanced computer labs, and Wi-Fi facility. The food in the canteen is so affordable and delicious. Also, the sports complex is under construction, and it will open soon.
Faculty: The faculty is so great, they are very helpful, qualified, and have great experience and knowledge. Also, their teaching style is appreciable, they know what the relevant things are to study with practical examples. The course curriculum is relevant, but there is a lack of practical exposure. A student can only be industry-ready when they have both practical and theoretical knowledge. The semester exams are not too tough if you study well, as the pass percentage is around 90%-95%.
Other: I chose this college because I want to do B.Com Honors, and after SRCC Bhagat Singh College is the largest department of commerce, and it is near my home. I wish to improve one thing, which is that the the university should focus on practical exposure and experience. Events in Bhagat Singh are not wild this year. Shadhu band performs in the annual event, the campus crowd is good and has good connectivity, and this college offers scholarship and internship programs for the students.

To apply for B.Com (h) the aggregate of one language and three best elective subjects would be considered as best four subjects to be eligible of the admission. Interested candidates have to register online with required information. Cut-off list for each college, course and reservation category
