Absolutely dissatisfied with the infrastructure, but the college crowd is good.
Placements: Approximately 50-60 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 24 LPA and that's more than enough. I think McKinsey does hire, but I don't know when it does and it might be frequent. The placement does usually place people well, and to be honest, this college is one of the better ones.
Infrastructure: I mean, not to shame them but the college is unusually small, like, genuinely, it is close to like just 100-200 m and it genuinely feels like a school. The canteen is good though, the only saving factor for the college, I guess. Nobody plays sports here.
Faculty: The teachers are okay but the only thing that might be ragging. The whole thing back might be them cancelling classes randomly so it might be weird to a fresher ki like there aren't many classes being taken and it genuinely feels like you wasted a day.

Everything you need to know about B.Com at DCAC.
Placements: DCAC has top recruiters like KPMG India/Global, EY/EY GDS, PwC, Infosys, Google, and Wipro. The placement rate in my course as of 2024 is 60+%. The average package is 6 LPA. The highest goes up to 12 LPA, with lots of internships being offered, around 115+.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent but not that satisfactory. It is one of the smaller Delhi University colleges. It is an area of 5 acres and a built-up area of 2.5 acres. There is optimum Wi-Fi and decent labs. College has an AC library, a gym, and an indoor game area. College canteen is small, but the food quality is good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They are qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. They solve doubts and assign group projects as well. The semester exams are not too hard, moderately difficult. Most of the students pass. It is not necessary to score 9+ CGPA.

Placements: Most higher CGPA holders get internships at big companies. This accounts for 70 to 88% of them being recruited. The highest package is 13 LPA, the lowest is around 3 LPA, and the average is 4–5 LPA. Major consulting and corporate giants frequently hire from DCAC, including EY, KPMG, PwC, Wipro, Genpact, and TresVista.
Infrastructure: For the B.Com program, we study in the newly built building, which is quite decent compared to the old one. The department features smart boards and decent Wi-Fi, which only sometimes works. The campus library is full of various books. I don't stay at the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty for the B.Com program is very nice, approachable, and knowledgeable. The curriculum is relevant to current books and helps build strong foundational skills. Semester exams are balanced, not too hard or easy. Teachers already teach all the concepts.

Good crowd but campus is not well maintained
Placements: The placement cell works pretty well. Surely provides internships but doesn't guarantee a job. The internship fair is held once a year and definitely provides scope for growth. You cannot expect stability from the internships, but it is a good source for resume building.
Infrastructure: The building is not well maintained and not as big as other campuses in DU. Hostel facilities are not provided. It has a library and a table tennis court. The classrooms are not that big. The internet does not work properly inside the campus. The quality of food is nice but there is no.
Faculty: The faculty is very good. Teachers are quite knowledgeable and know how to interact with students. Semester examinations are considered moderately difficult. The course provides only theoretical knowledge, not practical knowledge of what is going on.
Other: I wanted to learn more about the business world. The course provides a descriptive view of the companies and how they work. The fests could be better. But the crowd is genuinely pleasant and interactive.

Decent college with good opportunities and campus life.
Placements: The placement opportunities here at DCAC are quite good, especially considering the fees of the course. Many reputed companies visit the college to provide placements to students, like EY, KPMG, Bechtel, etc. As per the latest placement information, the highest package is around 12 LPA, and the average package is around 6 LPA. Students get roles like Finance, HR, Research and Analysis, and much more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is decent. It is not too bad but also not too good. Classrooms are fine. The college has facilities like a library, computer labs, & Wi-Fi. Hostel facilities are not provided. Students have to arrange them on their own.
Faculty: Faculty is helpful. They are knowledgeable. Most teachers explain the concepts properly. There are also workshops, seminars, and other activities which help students understand beyond just the syllabus. The pass percentage is 40 percent.
Other: The society culture and student activities are a good part of college life. There are different societies and events where students can participate.

It's better than not taking admission in any college.
Placements: Reality is that after doing a B.Com from DU, it will not decide your placement. Our college is just like other average DU colleges. Everything depends on ourselves. Some people get placed in EY, Deloitte but it is 1or 2 in a whole batch. The market reality is that there are already a lot of people in the market who are doing the same thing. We don't have skills that make us stand out from that crowd and no one can teach this.
Infrastructure: We have a very small campus, no hostel. The infrastructure looks like a local doctor's clinic very boring and lifeless. We have Wi-Fi but it is of no use. We have a library but have old course books and no interesting out-of-course books. The college canteen is average. Sports facilities are okay. I think it is obvious because it does not get that much importance and funds.
Faculty: Faculty is okay. You will definitely get 1 weird teacher. Most are good. They only teach that much which can give you a college degree. Semester exams are easy. As usual in DU college, there is no importance to extracurricular activities.
Other: If you get admission in it, then utilise it to its full potential. It is not that bad but not my dream place for study.

There are good faculty and a good crowd.
Placements: Almost 79% of students were placed in my course. The highest was 60 LPA, the lowest was 5 LPA, and the average was 20 LPA. Top recruiters are Red Bull, Pepsi, etc. Maybe 59% of students got internships. Top roles offered are mainly in industrial companies, HR managers, managers, accountants, etc. I hope this will help you.
Infrastructure: Facilities are so good in terms of Wi-Fi, labs, and the library. However, the college infrastructure is quite bad. The quality of facilities was amazing in all manner: the food, sports, and medical facilities were all available and good. I hope this will help you.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was excellent, especially for journalism and B.Com courses. The course is not really good, but our college tries hard to make us industry-ready. Exams are of average difficulty, and the passing criteria are defined by Delhi University.
Other: I chose this course because I already had a commerce background and was interested in pursuing it. This course makes you understand how companies work. Students should take the course seriously, as this course can make them industry-ready. All these activities happen in the college frequently.

I am totally dissatisfied with my college.
Placements: The highest package offered is around 9 LPA, and the minimum package you can get is 3 LPA, which is not enough to survive now. Many companies visit for recruitment, including big companies like Deloitte and KPMG, which are also our recruiting partners. For internships, students have to try off-campus, as on-campus internships are not that good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is too bad. It looks like an old-school building. Wi-Fi is provided only in the Wi-Fi zone, not across the campus. Classrooms are also fine. The only thing I love about my college is the canteen. I love their Chole Bhature, and there are also other options. We don't have any hostel facilities in college.
Faculty: Some teachers are really great some are so arrogant. The teaching quality is somewhat good, but not the best. The semester exams are very easy to crack. Even if you study just one day before the exam, you will still ace it. You just need to do past year's papers as much as you can, and you're ready to go.
Other: During my school days, I developed an interest in finance and also enjoy playing with numbers, so I decided to choose commerce. There are lots of societies in my college, and you can join as many as you want. Every college organizes its own fest. The campus crowd is pretty good, and you can see the diversity of students here.

It will be very difficult or you can say almost impossible to get admission in this college with 60% marks in class 12th board. So, I will suggest you to go for some good private colleges.

Yes, you can get admission in DCAC for B.Com as the eligibility criteria is to pass 12th with more than 40% that you have already accomplished.
