During the KGEC cutoff 2024, the CSE had the lowest Last Round rank of 1876. According to that, CSE was the most competitive branch in the General HS category. Apart from that, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering were the least and second-least competitive courses. They had the Last Round cutoffs for 3783 and 3029, respectively, in 2024. KGEC Cutoff 2024 for OBC Home State Category

As per the OBC HS category cutoffs, Electrical Engineering was the most competitive course. In contrast to it, the least competitive course in 2024 was Mechanical Engineering. KGEC Cutoff 2024 for SC Home State Category

As per the KGEC BTech cutoff 2024, Computer Science and Engineering continued to be a flagship program at KGEC, with low closing ranks across the General HS quota. Despite intense competition, it remained accessible at comparatively lenient ranks than those of other categories. Taking into consideration the overall KGEC cutoffs, it emerged as the toughest course to get into KGEC among the SC HS aspirants.

KGEC Cutoff 2024 for ST Home State Category

In the ST HS category, Computer Science and Engineering emerged as the most competitive branch compared to any other branch. Also, it had the First and Last Round cutoffs of 20287 and 30340, respectively. As per the cutoffs, Electrical Engineering had the Last Round cutoff of 46215.
