I am satisfied with this branch. All branches have good faculty members.

Placements: Around 80-90% of students were placed every year. The highest package was 38 LPA, the lowest package was 6 LPA, and the average package was around 14 to 15 LPA. Top recruiting companies like HUL, GAIL, Reliance Industries, Tata Chemical, Tata Steel, etc. Exactly, I don't know what the percentage but nearly 85 to 90 students got internships out of 110 students. NIT Warangal generally provides internship opportunities through various companies. Top roles are like analyst, software development engineer, management roles, and generalist roles.

Infrastructure: NIT Warangal campus features academic buildings, research centres, and a central library, along with well-equipped labs and classrooms, and also has Wi-Fi access. Students have access to residential facilities, dining halls. The hostel facilities at NIT Warangal are generally considered decent. The quality of food in the mess is average. Basic medical facilities are available, including an on-campus health center.

Faculty: In general, the faculty at NIT Warangal are well qualified, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Many professors as approachable and encouraging. Yes, the course curriculum is very relevant. The course curriculum is generally considered relevant and industry-focused focused Semister exams at NIT WARANGAL are considered moderately difficult. Every student can get 80 to 85 percent easily.

Other: I have too much interest in chemistry. The one more thing in NIT Waranagal's chemical engineering branch was too good compared to all other NITs.

The college is good. If you get into this college then placements are guaranteed.

Placements: Placements are very good in this college. If you have skills, you will be easily placed. The only thing our college is known for is placements. So try to get a good CGPA in the first year. Rest of the time try to improve your skills if you want to come to our college.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good. Labs have good technology in them. Classrooms are congested though. Hostels are pretty bad as everyone expected. Rooms are very small. In some rooms, there is no ventilation so it gets really hot in there. But there is a gym in the hostel. That is a good point.

Faculty: First-year faculty members will be good in most of the branches. This is because professors from other branches will come and teach us. The current curriculum is relevant to industry needs. First semester is easy but as we go on the semesters become more difficult.

Placements: In our class, 115 students are there. My course is chemical engineering at our institute. The highest package is 38 LPA in chemical engineering. The lowest package is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Oil companies such as Hindustan Petroleum and other companies like Oracle.

Infrastructure: NIT Warangal has excellent infrastructure for academic and hostel facilities. The institute provides well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms, a central library with a vast collection of books and journals, and high-speed Wi-Fi across the campus. The department buildings are modern and well-maintained. Hostels are decent, with adequate facilities such as laundry, common rooms, and study space. The mess food quality is average, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available, but it could be improved. Canteen offers a variety of food choices at affordable prices. Medical facilities are available 24/7, including an on-campus health center.

Other: The campus life at NIT Warangal is vibrant, with cultural and technical fests like SpringSpree and Technozion offering great opportunities for extracurricular activities. The student crowd is diverse, making it a great place to learn and grow. The connectivity to the city is decent, with easy access to transport. Scholarships and financial aid options are available for deserving students, adding to the institution's inclusivity.

Review of NIT Warangal.

Placements: Placements are the best due to which I chose this college. Many people get placed if they cross the cutoff CGPA in their respective courses. Top companies like Amazon, Oracle, and Google recruit here. The percentage of internships is also good. A few work under higher professors if they don't get placed.

Infrastructure: We have LAN support which provides internet by just connecting it to our laptops. We have the biggest library where we can get any book we want. Hostels are not that good but it's decent for staying. Washrooms won't be cleaned regularly but once it is cleaned, it would be nice. The mess food is also average.

Faculty: Here, many professors are well-qualified and have proper experience in their respective courses. The end-exams are quite difficult than mid-exams, so many students try to score as much as possible in mid-semester exams. The pass percentage would be high as many students who were good at their 12th would only get into this college.

Other: The biggest fest here happened is Springs Spree. It is a celebration for 3 days. We would enjoy it a lot. I got this JoSAA, so I chose it.

IIT level placement yet small disappointments are there.

Placements: 87.21% students were placed in my course from last batch. 89.83% students overall (including core and non-core placements from our branch) were placed. 34 LPA is the highest package, 4.5 LPA is the lowest, 12.54 LPA is the average, and the median is 11.88 LPA. ONGC, IOCL, HPCL, ITC, etc. are the top recruiters. The top roles are offered in Product Management.

Infrastructure: The CHE department is well known for its state-of-the-art infrastructure but unfortunately, the 1st year hostels aren't up to the mark. The respected authorities are trying and the staff also try to maintain hostels properly but there is still a lot of room to develop. (Even 4G and 5G signals are not accessible in many rooms and students would've suffered if it wasn't for the super-speed LAN services provided here. ). Strictness isn't shown because it's clearly visible when toilets are left unclean and littering is done outside by the students.

Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified and most of them are IITians from old IITs and NITians from old NITs. Some care a lot and some just simply put pressure on and make the course non-interesting. Undoubtedly, the faculty is hardworking and the course curriculum is one of the best. Management of the courses could be modified a little, as it might be a little hectic as of now. Semester exams are well prepared and can be cracked with a decent level of preparation.

Is it good to join NIT, Warangal for chemical engineering or NIT, Durgapur for mechanical engineering?

NITW has a better ranking. So I would recommend NITW. If you are unhappy with the branch you can always look forward to internal sliding and change after your first year.
