This is an average college.

Placements: 73% of students in the 2019–2023 batch were placed in an ECE course. The highest, lowest, and average packages offered in my course are INR 15 LPA, INR 7.87 LPA, and INR 9.7 LPA. The median package offered in the ECE department is approximately INR 8 LPA. Celebal Technologies offered the highest package for the student in the ECE department. Rest assured, all the information is available on the IIIT Trichy website.

Infrastructure: All the major equipment is available in the labs; Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus; and the hostels are well maintained and clean. Mess food is also good; we have a community to handle the mess; non-vegetarian food is available three times a week (2 times eggs and 1 time chicken); the canteen was opened recently, so it is small; we get few items only as of now; doctors used to come on campus three times a week; as our campus is new, there is no proper ground available. We have a library in college, but it contains very few books and is not maintained properly. Because there are only two washing machines in the boys' hostel and one in the girls' hostel, we must wash our clothes by hand the majority of the time. Also, as our campus is new, no proper plantation of trees has been done yet.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified, but there are many new faculty members, so the quality of teaching is not up to par. The curriculum at ECE doesn't make students industry-ready. Semester exams are very easy, and the pass percentage is also greater than 95%. We have classes from 9:20 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at least once a week, so because of that, students can concentrate on extracurricular activities.

Other: There is one cultural, technical, and sports fest in a year. The campus connectivity is very bad. There is only a bus service available to go to Trichy City. There is no such thing outside the campus. And there is no Swiggy, Zomato, Ola, or Uber service available.

Review of Indian Institute of Information Technology, Tiruchirappalli.

Placements: Placements in our college are average but this year as our college is starting a new campus, students can expect a great rise in placements in upcoming years. Many companies recruited students this year and many are yet to come.

Infrastructure: Since our college is newly built, the infrastructure is top class with all facilities. Hostel rooms are well-ventilated and clean. They have sensor lights everywhere. Bathrooms are clean. The academic building has good architecture and technology.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are highly educated with adequate experience. They are very cooperative with students. The course curriculum is the latest and updated with a proper mixture of theory and hands-on experience. Exams conducted in our college are CT1, CT2, and end-semesters.
