The full form for GITAM GAT is GITAM Admission Test. It is an management entrance test conducted by Gandhian Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) for admission to MBA/PGDM programe of GITAM School of Business. Candidates seeking admision to Post graduate programe of GITAM must appear for the exam. Candidates having valid score in national level management entrance exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, etc. will be exemted from taking the GITAM GAT exam. Candidates will be required to fill the application form to be eligible for appearing in group discussion and personal interview rounds. GITAM GAT is conducted in multiple sessions in a year. Candidates can chose the date of examination as per their convenience.

As per GAT exam pattern there is no sectional time limit. GAT BBA question paper will include four sections:

• English Language
• Quantitative Aptitude
• Reasoning and Intelligence
• General Knowledge

Candidates must attempt all four sections within the given time duration. GAT exam is conducted for a duration of 60 minutes or one hour. GAT sections will have100 questions in total. Candidates must attempt maximum questions within the given time duration. 

GITAM Admission Test 2026 registrations has commenced at gat.gitam.edu. Candidates interested in admission to BBA or MBA programme of GITAM Deemed to be University, must fill online application form on or before the last date. The GAT application form can be filled in online mode only. GITAM commenced the GAT 2026 registrations online after the release of notification. Candidates must make sure to fulfill eligbility criteria before filling the application form. To complete the GAT 2025 registrations candidates must ensure to pay the GITAM application fee of INR 1200. The application fee can be paid in online mode only.

Candidates preparing for GAT exam must make sure to follow eligibility criteria before filling the application form. Candidates failing to meet the eligibility criteria will be disqualified.

For BBA

• Candidate must have completed Class 12 or an equivalent examination for BBA admissions.
• The examination should be recognised by the eductaion board.
• Student must have successfully passed this examination GAT or UGAT to be eligible to apply.

For MBA

• Student must have a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 50% marks in total. 
• Candidate must have completed the UG course in minimum three years duration.
• Students in the final year of graduation are eligible to apply for the programme

GITAM GAT 2026 result date for the current phase is December 13. Candidates who appear in exam can download the result of GITAM GAT 2026 from the official website of the exam. The merit of a candidate is determined by score secured in the exam.

Yes, GITAM offers scholarships based on the GAT rank or score or national or state entrance test scores or ranks as per GITAM's scholarship policy. This scholarship is applicable only for the first year, and to avail of the same scholarship for the subsequent years of study, candidates should score a CGPA of 8.0 and above in the qualifying examination. Scholarships are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and seats under the scholarship quota are limited.

GITAM GAT is conducted for admission to UG and PG courses offered by GITAM Deemed to be University. Candidates seeking admission to GITAM, must apply for GAT examination and stay updated with the latest events and dates. For the upcoming session, GAT 2026 registration has commenced. The exam is being held in multiple sessions.

GAT 2026 admit card will be released online at gitam.edu. GAT admit card will be released soon after the registration process is completed. Only candidates who will fill the complete application form along with the payment of the application fee will be able to download the GAT admit card. The GAT admit card is an important document that has to be carried on the day of the examination, without which candidates will not be permitted to enter the exam centre. To download the GAT 2026 admit card, candidates must visit the link sent to their registered email address. Candidates must then enter their login credentials to download the admit card. Screen will display the candidate's details and exam centre details where candidates have to report on the date of the examination. Candidates must check the details mentioned on the GAT admit card. In case of any discrepancy, candidates must immediately contact the GITAM helpline to rectify the information along with the supporting documents.

GAT 2026 exam will be held in multiple sessions. Candidates who will register for the exam will be able to appear for the GAT exam. The examination for GITAM (Deemed to be University) UG and PG admissions will be held in computer based mode. Candidates will have to report to the allotted exam centre. GAT exam is codncuted for a duration of 60 minutes. As per the GAT exam pattern, the question paper consists of 200 multiple-choice questions. Candidates had to choose a correct answer among the four options provided. There will be a negative marking for wrong answers of 1/3 marks. Candidates wothout GAT admit card will not be permitted to enter the GAT exam centre.
