- On login window, select login mode, that are, via OTP or registered mobile number.

Important Note: The candidates who have scores of JEE Main, TS EAMCET, or AP EAMCET are exempted from GAT. If a candidate hasn't appeared for any of the mentioned exams, they would need to appear for the GITAM Admissions Test (GAT) to qualify for engineering admissions at GITAM.

Things to Carry With GITAM GAT Admit Card 2026
The candidate has to produce any one of the following for personal identification:
- Passport
- Driving License
- EC Voter ID card
- IT PAN card
- Aadhaar Card
- School/College photo-bearing ID card
On the day of the exam, candidates have to carry any one of the above ID proof with a printed copy of the GAT admit card.
GITAM GAT 2026 Exam Instructions
Here are some guidelines that the candidates have to follow on the day of the GITAM GAT exam:
- In reaching the exam centre, candidates have to register their name at the registration counter located in the test centre. Candidates must also carry any one of the following documents: Passport, Driving License, EC voter ID card, IT PAN card, School or College photo with ID card, or Aadhar Card.
- Candidates have to then take their seat allocated with a computer. Once the exam starts candidates will not be allowed to leave their seats.
- Sign the attendance sheet that is provided by the invigilator at the exam hall.
- Do not carry any textual material, printed or written, bits of paper, or any other material except the e-hall ticket into the examination hall.
- Calculators, slide rules, Clark tables and electronic watches with facilities of calculators, laptop or palmtop computers, personal stereo systems, walkie-talkie sets, mobile phones, paging devices or any other object/device are also not allowed.
Note that candidates who have scores of JEE Main, TS EAMCET, or AP EAMCET are exempted from GAT. If a candidate hasn't appeared for any of the mentioned exams, they would need to apply and appear for the GITAM Admissions Test (GAT) to qualify for engineering at GITAM.

GITAM Admission Test or GAT is an entrance test for admission to various UG and PG courses offered by the Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM). The exam is held as a computer-based test across various states of India and also as an online proctored test for some courses. GAT is the common test for admission to all GITAM campuses at Vishakapatnam, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and GIMSR.
GITAM GAT exam is not as tough as JEE Main exam, but it needs good preparation. Thus, candidates should focus well in their class 12 boards preparation and also in class 11. This will be enough to crack the GITAM GAT exam.
For GITAM GAT preparation of BTech, candidates can refer to the books like NCERT and all other books that they refer to for their class 11 and 12 preparations.
Candidates should keep preparing for GITAM GAT along with their class 12 school exams and boards. A good board preparation is enough to score well in GAT.
