UGAT Admit Card 2026 Dates

AIMA will release the UGAT admit card 2026 after the registration window closes. The UGAT 2026 admit card will be released a few days before the UGAT exam date. Students who have registered for the exam and paid the application fee will be able to download the UGAT hall ticket using their login details. The admit card will be released on June 9, 2026. Students have to carry the hard copy of the admit card to the exam centre on the exam day for verification along with the photo ID proof. Exam timing, instructions, venue details, address, etc. will be mentioned on the UGAT 2026 hall ticket.

UGAT syllabus includes all the important topics of subjects that are relevant for business administration and general aptitude. For UGAT exam, candidates have to study, English Language, Numerical and Data Analysis, Reasoning and General Intelligence, and General Knowledge. Given below are the key topics included in the UGAT syllabus: -

  1. The English Language section of UGAT exam syllabus includes various topics of Grammar, Word Meaning, Vocabulary, Parajumbles, Fill in the Blanks, Sentence Completion, Synonyms and Antonyms, Reading Comprehension, Idioms, Analogies, etc.
  2. The Numerical and Data Analysis section of UGAT syllabus includes all the topics of Mathematics from Class 9 to 10 such as Arithmetic, Geometry, Algebra Trigonometry, Modern Math, Number System, Percentages, Equations, Ratio and Proportion, Work and Time, Averages, Mensuration, etc.
  3. The Reasoning and Intelligence section of the UGAT syllabus includes topics such as Coding and Decoding, Visual Reasoning, Puzzles, Patterns, Arrangement, Blood Relations, Strong and Weak Arguments, Course of Action, Series, etc.
  4. The last section, General Knowledge, of the UGAT syllabus is based on the current happenings, domestic and international news, history, etc. The questions are based on topics such as Current Affairs, Sports, Politics, Economics, Business, History, Geography, Famous Personalities, Books and Authors, etc.

Q:   Will I get admission on the basis of UGAT results directly?

No, after the UGAT exam is cleared, candidates will have to go through for further selection procedure conducted by the participating institutes. The UGAT scores are accepted various colleges and universities. Candidates need to meet the cutoff criteria of the participating institutes to take admissions. The admission process includes Written Ability Test (What), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI). Other factors such as academic record, work experience, etc. are also considered for admission to various institutes which accept UGAT scores. UGAT score is only the first parameter on which the candidates are shortlisted for admission. The institutes first shortlist the candidates for WAT, GD and PI on the basis of their UGAT scores, marks obtained in Class 12. The exam conducting body releases the list of participating institutes where candidates can apply for admission. Candidates have the option to choose five colleges at the time of UGAT registration 2026. The UGAT counselling is conducted in online as well as offline mode. Candidates who have qualified for UGAT exam must register themselves online through the official website. However, the Personal Interview WAT/GD and document verification round under the counselling process is held offline at the designated helpline centres. Candidates who meet the UGAT cutoff, need to visit the centre for document verification as per their rank and other selection rounds such as PI and WAT. The seat allotment process is also conducted online based on the merit, category, and choices filled by the candidate during the registration process. Candidates can check their allotment status on the official website. The entire UGAT counselling process except the PI WATand document verification round is conducted in online mode.

The duration of UGAT exam is 2 hours or 120 minutes. Students have to take the exam in the paper based test mode by visit the exam centre. The students cannot leave the exam hall before the time gets over.
