University of Mumbai offers a number of programmes in the field of Management at UG and PG level such as BMS, Master of Management Studies (MMS), Master of Marketing Management (MMM), Master of Financial Management (MFM), Master of Human Resources Development Management (MHRDM), Master of Information Management (MIM) and Master of Financial Services Management (MFSM). Out of these, BMS and MMS are full-time courses whereas all the remaining are part-time courses.

Mumbai University has two well-known colleges under it that also offer these courses.

Mumbai University admission 2021 for all the Management courses is based on a valid score in national/state/university-level entrance exam. Candidates seeking admission must apply for the course-specific entrance exam to secure admission.

PG Programmes

  • Mumbai University MMS admission 2021 is based on a valid score in MAH-CET (MAH MMS CET)
  • For full-time MMM, MFM, MHRDM, MIM programmes, admission is based on a valid score in MAH-CET
  • Admission to part-time MMM, MFM, MHRDM, MIM courses is based on merit in the last qualifying degree exams

Mumbai University BMS Admission 2021

At the UG level, Mumbai University offers a three-year BMS programme to the students. The final selection for this course is based on merit scores in Class 12 with the following weightage assigned to different stream students:

University of Mumbai PG in Management Admission 2021

Mumbai University offers a two-year regular MMS programme along with a few part-time and full-time two-year courses such as MMM, MFM, MHRDM, MIM in the field of Management. Additionally, the University offers a part-time MFSM course of two-year duration. The below-table indicates the minimum eligibility criteria for these courses along with their selection criteria:

On the basis of MAH MMS-CET conducted by the state authorities

- A minimum of 5 years of executive (non-clerical) experience in any areas of Marketing

OR

- A pass in any PG degree

- A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in any areas of Marketing

OR

A UG degree in ACA, AICWA, AMIE, CAIIB with a minimum experience of 2 years

For full-time mode:

MAH-CET

 

For part-time mode: Merit in the last qualifying exam

Full-time/Part-time MFM

Full-time/Part-time MHRDM

Full-time/Part-time MIM

Part-time MFSM

A bachelor’s degree in any discipline

 

- GATE qualified candidates are preferred

- Final selection is based on academic qualification and work experience

Mumbai University Management Courses Application Process 2021

Candidates seeking admission to Mumbai University for UG or PG level Management programmes must apply for the course-specific entrance exam followed by applying to the desired affiliated college. After appearing for the required entrance exam, the University/exam holding authority will conduct a counselling process for final seat allotment.

Selection to MMS, MMM, MFM, MHRDM, MIM programmes is based on MAH-CET followed by online counseling ducted by DTE. Check application process for MAH-CET exam here

List of documents required while filling the application form

While filling MAH-CET application form, candidates must add various personal and academic details. Hence, following documents must be kept handy while filling the application form:

  • Class 10, Class 12 and graduation mark sheet and passing certificate
  • Birth certificate
  • Proof of address
  • Recent passport-size photo
  • Signature on A4 size white sheet
  • Caste category certificate (if applicable)
  • Credit/debit card or net banking credentials

MAH CET Application Fee 2021

The application fee for MAH-CET needs to be paid online at the time of registration. Fee payment through any other mode is not accepted. Below table indicates category-wise application fee:

Mumbai University Management Courses Seat Reservation 2021

University of Mumbai follows a strict reservation policy for different categories of students. All the colleges affiliated to the University also fill their seats as per University’s reservation policy except for a few. The last date to apply online for some courses at University of Aberdeen Mumbai is not visible on the official site. However, students can apply for UG courses before 30 April 2026 & get a INR 2,000 application fee waiver (zero application fee).

University of York, Mumbai MSc Management total fees is INR 15 lakh. It is for the domestic students only. Students have to pay some fee amount after selection to confirm a seat. The mentioned fee amount is as per official brochure and hence, is indicative.
