While all the courses at IIMA are full-time and residential, the PGPX is a one-year programme while PGP is for two years. The PGPX orientation is to give a general management perspective to a management executive, whereas the PGP is focused on Functional and Operational Management. On successful completion, students are given a Master of Business Administration degree.

You can pursue Human Resources Management even if you're not into maths. HRM focuses on people management and organizational strategy rather than complex calculations. Basic quantitative skills are somewhat helpful. They are not the primary focus. Many HR roles involve soft skills like communication and problem-solving.

Karnataka State Open University Mysore offers 420+ courses in UG, PG and PhD level on the basis of merit or entrance. The University offers courses such as BA, BCom, BSc, BBA, BEd and BCA in ODL mode. KSOU offers these courses through 29 departments with segregated streams such as Food and Nutrition, Biotechnology, Information Technology and many others. 

Admission criteria to IIM Lucknow is both, merit and entrance based. The eligibility criteria to get into PG programmes is graduation in any discipline (this may vary from course to course) with a minimum aggregate of 50%, along with entrance exams.

Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University (UPRTOU) is a government university. Rajarshi Tandon Open University offers UG, PG Diploma Certificate and Ph.D. programmes. It includes Bachelor and Master programs such as B.Tech, B.Voc, MBA, M.Tech, and M.E., etc.

The university also provides Diploma programs and certificate courses such as Loss Prevention Associate and Housekeeping Associate for skill development.

The seat deposit is also known as blocking fee or admission fee and is the fee amount paid after the admission offer is received to confirm one's seat and desire to study at the university and is generally refundable though there is a dead-line associated with the refund and deductions are made depending on it.

Admission to various courses is based on merit and scores of entrance exams. The selection process for the course consists of an entrance exam, followed by a Personal Interview (PI) round.
