AEEE 2026 Dates: Amrita Vishwavidyapeetham has announced the complete schedule of the AEEE 2026 exam at amrita.edu. Registrations are now open for Phases 1 and 2. The last date to apply is January 15. The AEEE 2026 exam date and the AEEE 2026 application form are now available.

Amrita will hold the AEEE 2026 CBT exam twice - phase 1 (January 29 to February 1) and phase 2 in (April 25 to 30). The AEEE 2026 schedule covers AEEE exam date for both phases, along with the deadline to apply for each phase. Apart from that, Amrita has also mentioned AEEE 2026 slot booking and admit card download date. A few days after the exam, the AEEE 2026 result and counselling date will also be notified.

Aspirants can apply for Amrita BTech admission 2026 based on AEEE and/or JEE Main 2026 scores. On this page, candidates can check the AEEE 2026 schedule for phase 1 and phase 2.

AEEE 2026 Exam Dates

Amrita University conducts the AEEE exam for admission to BTech courses. The exam date is announced online, and candidates need to book their exam slots as per their availability to appear for the computer-based test.

The slots for the AEEE 2026 exam has been announced, check below:

AEEE CBT has one paper of 300 marks. 100 MCQs are asked in the exam from Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English and Quantitative Aptitude. Each question carries 3 marks, and 1 mark is deducted against each wrong answer. The questions are based on the syllabus in Class 11th & Class 12th.  All the questions are of a Multiple-Choice type and have four options as possible answers.

Q:   How can I take admission in Amrita other than through AEEE?

Admission to BTech Programmes offered at Amrita School of Engineering is through and based on the rank scored in JEE Main and AEEE. 70% of the seats are allotted via AEEE scores and the rest of the 30% of seats are filled based on JEE Main ranks. A candidate can choose to apply either through AEEE or JEE Mains individually or even select both.

AEEE 2026 Dates - Important Pre-Exam Events to Note

Check below what the important events are that the candidates must know about when it comes to AEEE 2026:

AEEE 2026 registration: AEEE 2026 registration process is online only. All eligible candidates can apply for the AEEE exam online on the official website. The AEEE application form for both phases has to be filled and submitted as per the application deadline. To register, candidates have to enter their name and contact details. The mobile numbers of the candidates are verified, and only after that can candidates complete the registration process. Candidates are advised to retain the registered mobile number and email they have submitted in the application form till all the admission procedures are completed, as all important updates will be informed to the candidates through SMS/e-mail or both.

AEEE 2026 Slot Booking: Candidates registered for AEEE have to select the “slot and time slot” of their choice, subject to availability, by visiting the University website prior to the last date. This process is called “SLOT BOOKING.” Test Centre, Number of days and Number of operating slots in a day are finalised based on the number of candidates for a particular city. The allotment of dates/slots is on a first-come come first-served basis. If a candidate does not exercise their option, they are assigned a date/ slot as per the availability of the same. To book the Exam Date and Slot, registered candidates need to click the AEEE slot booking link provided on the University webpage as per the schedule.

AEEE 2026 admit card: To download the AEEE 2026 admit card, candidates have to use their registered Email ID / Application Number and Date of Birth. Candidates must keep in mind that the admit card is not sent by post. One has to visit the official website, amrita.edu/admissions, to access the link to download the admit card. On the AEEE admit card, candidates can check important exam related details and instructions to follow at the exam centre. The admit card must be kept safe even after the exam until the admission process is completed.

Q:   When will the AEEE slot booking process start?

AEEE 2026 phase 1 slot booking will start on January 10. Only the registered candidates can select their exam slots and download the AEEE 2026 admit card.

Q:   When will the AEEE application form release?
A: 

The AEEE 2026 application form for phase 1 and phase 2 is out. Candidates are allowed to submit only one application form, and more than one application, i.e. multiple applications from a candidate, may get rejected. Candidates' names and their parents' names in the application form must exactly be the same as registered in the Class 12th/ equivalent qualifying Examination. Prefix/title such as Mr/Shri/Fr/Dr/Mrs/Smt/Col etc. should not be used.  The candidates are advised not to send the hard copy of the online application to the university. However, the candidates are advised to retain a hard copy of the application, i.e. acknowledgement page, for future reference or correspondence.

AEEE result 2026: The AEEE 2026 result is announced on the official website. The result of AEEE is released separately for all phases. Candidates who appear for more than one phase must note that their best score out of all the phases is considered for admission.

AEEE 2026 counselling (CSAP): Candidates with AEEE 2026 rank or JEE Mains 2026 Percentile Score or Rank have to register for CSAP 2026. CSAP is held for all AEEE qualified candidates, in order to get admission to the BTech programme offered at 5 campuses (Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore) of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.

Q:   Where to check the AEEE results?

Candidates will be able to view their AEEE 2026 results in the admission portal at aeee.amrita.edu. Candidates have to login to their portal and check their AEEE scores and ranks as per the result date mentioned on the official website.

Q:   Can I check my AEEE result offline?
A: 
AEEE result cannot be checked offline. The result can be checked in the online mode only on the official website. To check the result, visit Amrita University's official website. Then navigate to the 'Result' link. Now enter your AEEE registration number, Date of Birth and security code as displayed on the scene. After entering all the details click submit, AEEE result will be displayed on the screen. Check all the details and download your AEEE result. Also, take a print out and keep it safe till the admission process is over.

Q:   Which campuses of Amrita University accepts AEEE scores?
A: 

Admission via AEEE is given in BTech courses offered at Amrita University campuses at Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Faridabad, Nagercoil, and Haridwar. Candidates can check the campuses that offer BTech specialisation that they are interested in on the official website. Not all campuses will offer all the specialisations. For example, the Coimbatore campus offers all specialisations except for Electronics & Computer Engineering. Similarly, exceptions are applicable in other campuses too.

Q:   Can I select my preferred exam date and time for AEEE exam?

Yes, you can. Candidates registered for AEEE 2025 shall select “DATE AND TIME” of their choice, SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY, by visiting the admission portal on or before the last date. No, for unattempted question marks will not be deducted in Athe EEE 2026 exam. However, 1 mark will be deducted for wrong answers.

Yes. A new section of 'Quantitative Aptitude' has been added to the AEEE syllabus. However, the syllabus for this section has not been mentioned by Amrita.
