NIT Sikkim cutoff 2025 was released for B.Tech. admission across multiple specialisations. Admission to the BTech course is based on candidates' performance in the JEE Main entrance exam, followed by JoSAA and CSAB counselling rounds. The cutoff was released as opening and closing ranks across categories under the AI and HS quotas. For the General AI quota, the JEE Main last round closing ranks were between 31754 and 84897. NIT Sikkim Cutoff 2025 for General Al Category

For students in the General category under the AI quota, the most and least competitive BTech branches for admission were Computer Science & Engineering and Civil Engineering. For CSE, the JEE Main first-round closing rank was 21087, increasing to 31754 in the last round for admission. For Civil, the round 1cutoff rank was 49684, while in the last round, the closing rank stood at 84897. For NIT Sikkim, the seat allocation up to six rounds was managed by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). NIT Sikkim Cutoff 2025 for OBC Al Category

In the OBC category of students, the JEE Main first round cutoff ranks were in the range of 7236 and 15563. In the last round, the closing ranks varied between 41523 and 90926. Considering both rounds, CSE remained the most challenging BTech branch with the lowest cutoff rank for admission. NIT Sikkim CSE cutoff 2025 was 7236 in the first round and 41523 in the last round.

NIT Sikkim Cutoff 2025 for SC Al Category

Compared with the two categories mentioned above, the JEE Main cutoff rank for CSE admission was more competitive among students in the SC AI category during Round 1. For the SC category, the first and last round closing ranks for CSE admission were 3549 and 141100, respectively. For B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, the maximum rank accepted was 138195. Similarly, for Electronics and Communication Engineering, the highest rank required was 167801 for admission. 

With a last round cutoff rank of 217849, Civil Engineering turned out to be the least challenging for admission, with the highest cutoff rank. The higher the cutoff rank, the lower the competition, and vice versa.

Students can refer to the table below to view the National Institute of Technology, Sikkim JEE Main first and last-round closing ranks. Within the BTech course, the cutoff was announced for multiple specialisations, including Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Of all the specialisations, CSE had the lowest rank, making it the most competitive for admission. NIT Sikkim PWD category cutoff 2025 was released only for admission to B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering. NIT Sikkim Cutoff 2025 for General HS Category

NIT Sikkim General Home State category cutoff 2025 for BTech admission was 170692 in the first round. In the last round, the closing rank for the same course was 185001. Compared with the General category under the AI quota, the JEE Main cutoff ranks were less competitive for CSE admission under the Home State quota. 

For other B.Tech. branches, such as Electronics & Communication Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning and Electrical & Electronics Engineering, the JEE Main last round closing ranks were 259260, 288771 and 559777, respectively. For the OBC category students, the JEE Main first round closing rank for CSE admission was 129104. In the last round, the closing rank stood at 132548. For other B.Tech. branches, such as ECE and AI & Machine Learning, the highest cutoff ranks required for admission were 364986 and 398600, respectively.

NIT Sikkim Cutoff 2025 for SC HS Category

NIT Sikkim CSE cutoff 2025 was closed at 454935 for students belonging to the SC category, belonging to the Home State quota. For the same BTech branch, the cutoff rank closed at 141100 for the SC category students under the AII India quota. So, comparing both the quotas, the JEE Main rank was more competitive for the SC HS quota for CSE admission as compared to the AI quota. 

Similarly, for ECE as well, the cutoff was more stringent for the AI quota as compared to the HS quota. Under the AI quota, the last round cutoff rank was 167801 for ECE, while for the AI quota, the rank concluded at 623504. Cutoff details for other specialisations are given below:

No. students cannot apply for admisison with 52% in graduation. The percentage is not enough. To apply, students must fulfil the eligibility requirement. The eligibility is to have 60% in graduation in relevant field from a recognised university.
